Maybach on 5th avenue. I like the color combo.....which I just realized didn't come out very well via phone-camera. It's a blue-grey on black.

Wow......what a nice car!! I just love the interior, it's stunning!!
I'm a bit surprised that there's no snow in NYC........I thought Ontario and neighboring provinces/states are snowing right now.

We had snow and there is still some in outlying areas. Snow in NYC does not last long. With all the foot traffic and cars it gets mashed away real quick.

its the heat island effect. urban areas with lots of people, asphalt, and energy consumption build up massive amounts of heat which are released over time, keeping large urban areas warmer, and warming them up quicker than emptier areas. (for instance, it was 39 F when i left my home in center city philadelphia this morning, but it was 32 F a mere 7 miles out of the city) NYC, i would presume, is like other major metro areas in the NE USA in that the temperatures usually hover around the freezing mark, and so though snow can come, and does, it melts rather rapidly after the initial falling.

Thank you Mr. Science! ;)

Usually the proximity to the Atlantic and LI Sound does cause more rain to fall than snow. We have had snow stick around at times but this time there was a warm front that caused rain which melted the remaining snow that was left after the traffic pounded the initial snow to slush. My house for instance still has about 4 inches around it.

I go to school in Kingston, Ontario, Canada which is basically a small hicktown, but there's a surprising amount of exotica here:
- There's a guy who owns an orange Gallardo which I've seen 3 or 4 times. We call him "the Lamborghini guy"
- A BMW 3.0 CSL parked near where I live
- A few E30 M3s
- An Audi S4 and an S6
- A Mazda RX-7 FD3S. Seemed very clean, no mods.
- There's a house I walk past everyday on my way to class, and parked on their driveway is a G55 AMG (G-Wagen) and a Porsche Cayenne

I don't have a camera of my own and my phone doesn't have a camera, but I plan to put up pics later on.

I saw

I saw

I saw, and sat in, a Koenigsegg this summer. Two Koenigseggs were gathered i Trondheim, Norway. The yellow one is owned by a Norwegian billionare. The red one is the official test car, the one they broke the world record in on the Nardo track. This was the first time ever two Koenigsegg were in the same town at the same time. I even got to meet the founder of Koenigsegg, Christian Von Koenigsegg :D

Same summer I spotted a silver SLR McLaren outside The Casino in Monaco, and I outran a Gallardo on a bike ;)

My neighbor in Vancouver had a Viper GT, and IMHO it didn't look very nice. With that money, I would get a Porsche Carrera instead; it's more practical, and looks better too!!
What's Viper GT? You mean GTS?

Where did you live in Van BTW, and do you like Toronto better than Vancouver?

Yeah, I guess it's the GTS (the one with the two white stripes). I live near Children's Hospital in Vancouver........and of course I love Vancouver more than Toronto.......just look at the exotics on Burrard Street!!
I thought you guys had more exotics than us?

Considering Toronto freezes over for the better part of winter, I don't see a lot of people wanting to spend that much money on cars. They probably leave the exotics at the summer house.

That's very true.......who would take their exotics out for a spin now when it's -7C, and salt and sand everywhere on the road

Apparently it's Sepang Bronze Metallic, which is just a fancy way of saying "diarrehea beige". ;)

Love the number plate, V-10-507

I didn't even think of that! But he's still a wanker, those Euro style plates have only been around for a couple of months and I have to say, they look really really bad.

Regarding this thread: http://forum.finalgear.com/viewtopic.php?t=7938&highlight=london

I just came back from London and saw plenty of exotics. Only few were caught on camera as most of the time they just drove by before I had the chance to get my cam. But few ones.

A Porsche 911 4S. I just love the huge ass.

An Aston Martin DB7 convertibe (Volante?) - I really find that ass ugly, sorry for all the Aston Martin fans over here

... But the nose is allright.

I've never ever seen a Lotus before so this is my first touch. And it blew my mind away, I mean just look how gorgeus it is!

I saw lots of these, seems pretty common over there. A Bentley Continental GT

http://img441.imageshack.**/img441/1696/continentalgt6ux.jpg

A nice Audi RS6, a bit dirty though
http://img441.imageshack.**/img441/5953/rs66gd.jpg

Rolls Royce Fantom with weird thing over it's bonnet?

http://img441.imageshack.**/img441/989/phantom6cd.jpg

I saw two of these as well, despite being very expensive Bentelys are rather easy to find in London. A Flying Spur, very clean one.
http://img441.imageshack.**/img441/9708/spur19ry.jpg

And another pic of the Spur. The front looks very exclusive indeed.

And finally a DB9 that was on Stansted airport. Interior shot
