So.... we all want several cars, I guess. Time for another game, this time shamelessly stolen from @Mitchi and brought to a wider audience.

The rules are simple: Choose your personal collection of one car per country of origin:
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • UK
  • USA
The countries were chosen for being the major sources of cars. Feel free to include more as a bonus (Sweden, Korea, Australia, Russia, Brazil, India...)

I'll go first...
  • France: Citroën XM 3.0 i V6 24V
  • Germany: BMW E34 540i touring
  • Italy: Dino 246 GT
  • Japan: Mazda MX-5 G-184
  • UK: McLaren F1
  • USA: 1970 Dodge Charger
And to go a little further:
  • Australia: Ford Falcon XC Cobra Coupé
  • Korea: Kia Stinger GT
  • Sweden: Volvo 850 R

germany: MB 300SL gullwing
Italy: pagani zonda
Japan: Mazda 787B
UK: cooper mini
USA: Delahaye 135

i still wouldn't have a daily driver :D

Let's give it a try.
  • France: Peugeot 205 Rallye (the 1.3 EU model, FWIW)
  • Germany: BMW M5 (E39)
  • Italy: Pagani Zonda F
  • Japan: Eunos Roadster M2-1001
  • UK: Lotus Elise 111S (Series 1)
  • USA: Dodge Challenger R/T (1970)
And as a bonus, my daily would be:
  • Sweden: Volvo C70 T5 (coupé, first generation)
Alternatively, I'd swap the US car for a daily Tesla Model S and the Swedish car for an OG Saab 900 Turbo, but I needed a pony car on that list.

You got my hopes up with the thread title. I thought a group of us bought a warehouse. :D

I'm purely going for style points with this list.
  • France - Citroen DS23 Pallas
  • Germany - E30 325i Touring
  • Italy - Fiat Dino Type 135 Coupe
  • Japan - 1967 Toyota 2000GT Coupe
  • UK - AM V8 Vantage Oscar India ( see The Living Daylights)
  • USA - Auburn Boat-tail Speedster

Well that's mighty ignorant of you. Plenty of fantastic cars from all those nations. Even as someone who really doesn't like Japanese cars, I found it hard to pick from a handful of options.

We saw that very DS21 on the French Roadtrip back in 2013. It's at the French National Motor Museum in Mulhouse.

Ooh I'm up for this. My current choice:
  • France - 1973 Citroen SM 3.0 - beating the DS by a hair because I prefer the styling. Must have the triple headlight setup.
  • Germany - 1987 BMW E28 M5
  • Italy - 1971 Alfa Romeo Montreal
  • Japan - 1971 Datsun 240Z - RHD from Japan
  • UK - 1981 Land Rover Stage 1 V8 Station Wagon - would be 1970 Triumph GT6 MK2, basically the same as the Datsun and how could I live without a Land Rover?
  • USA - 1969 Dodge Daytona Hemi
The M5 would be the modern car. Ha!

Sure. But nothing I'd own personally.

Well, most here took the "holy shitballs dream car" approach to each country.
I just looked at what would I actually want to drive and what kind of selection I would "need". Therefore there's a convertible, one (only one) supercar, a practical wagon or two, a comfortable Autobahn cruiser (XM over DS because the latter severely lacks power), a modern daily driver...
I shall do one more list with my "bonkers" choices. Later.
