This 508 makes the jump from PSA's relatively old PF3 platform to its latest EMP2 chassis architecture - so by the end of 2019, the 508 will be get a plug-in petrol-electric hybrid edition, with a power output to match the most potent conventional powertrain.

That looks seriously awesome. Frameless windows!

Too bad it's a modern car with all the shit that comes with it, namely being an appliance to get somewhere, not a tool to drive somewhere.

I quite like it, especially the interior and the back. But, what the hell, only a max of 222bhp? Do not want. Go big or go home with BHP.

it's still a peugeot
no one in the market for a 250+ bhp car would consider a peugeot anyways
so why give it more power?

Probably a good point, but, people still buy Vauxhaul/Opels with a bunch of bhp don't they? That's, like, the same thing no?

I think it's safe to say that the share of Vauxhall/Opel GSI/OPC models sold are marginal compared to their overall sales. It's 1/100 around here at the most.

Bone is right that the market for a enthusiast version of a mid size Peugeot saloon isn't there. These things get bought in company fleets and as rentals.
