All I can say is thank god for the Puma Outlet Store and their constant ridiculous sales. The Repli Cats are over 2 years old, but their my favorite, so I'm taking really good care of them. They look like they are almost brand new. Last time I was at the Puma outlet, they had a 2-for-1 deal, and they were giving away their special Puma shoe cleaner. Thats come in handy since most of those shoes are suede and hard to clean. Thats really helped my Repli Cats.

I also have a pair of hiking shoes, but I don't remember what they're called off the top of my head. I'll post those later. And some formal shoes too.

jeez, you sure like Puma...

I don't...
here's 3 of mine, the others I'll have to take a picture of myself :)

Adi Racer, I love 'em!! One of the best shoes I ever had! They're worn out now, and I'm thinking of getting new ones.

New Balance 473, for running and exercise. They're good, very light.

And one more NB, retro-ish. Alse very good, light and comfortable.

I kind of fell in love with New Balance, they've got sporty and casual designs. They're not expensive as the 'popular' brands. Plus we have an outlet store nearby. :D

Pumas fit me the best. I've gone through a ton of other brands, and nothing fits like Puma. The Munichs were a bit iffy, but I don't know why I ventured away from the narrow shoes to the more traditional sneaker style. Not doing that again.

I've only got a pair of future cats, like these:

puma_future_cat_low-400-400.jpg

Got them years ago, but only used for spirited driving ;)

I like the feel of pedals with soft shoes like that, but for the 944 they are a bit too narrow even, the right foot fits between the brake and the throttle pedals, which can be annoying for h&t'ing.

Of course, with the Seven I can't even use anything wider, so when that is back on road, I'll need to get something darker, whites get dirty instantly.

Buy more Puma stuff, make them pay for another Volvo campaign :D

On topic, just put away my Reef flipflops that I wear for 4-5 months every summer, now wearing Ecco sandals. Too lazy to look up or even make pictures.

I took this picture a while back for the random thoughts thread...

and I've added 3 pairs of shoes to the list

Nike Twilight Runners.

This isn't a question you should ask a girl, although Clockwerk is pushing me on # owned.

You guys have more shoes than I have!

I use these every day, until they are too worn then I buy a new pair and throw the old ones out.
These are my actual shoes, they are getting close to replacement.

That pic is crappy, actually they are black, grey and light blue.

yeah, I like puma shoes as well : )

Just a single pair of Reeboks that I bought 3+ years ago for like $20. They're starting to wear a bit but still have some life left in them. I have a formal pair as well that I wear maybe once a year.

You guys know that if you collect shoes, your man card gets revoked, all your bacon is taken away and your license to drink milk straight from the bottle/carton making a huge mess is fed to feral pigs?

Am I right? :|

Yes.

The maximum allotted shoes for man license holders is one (1) general purpose pair and one (1) formal pair.

Shoes required for sports activities such as rock climbing, or racing cars, are obviously exempt under the condition that they are never used for general purpose and only for the activity which they were intended.

I have these for general wear: (don't like them any more)

Sandals should be included, because some days in summer you just don't feel like wearing socks. Work boots should probably be put in there as well, though they're kinda special purpose footwear they don't exactly fall under sports, and are required for doing many things like farming and building houses. Though I suppose technically they aren't shoes per se. Maybe just all footwear must have a purpose and be the only shoes used for said purpose?

Below is the entirety of my shoe collection. Yes, my formal shoes probably need cleaning. And yes, I just buy black shoes.

I have some kind of crappy not-known-on-the-Internet-because-I-bought-them-at-Payless Airwalks. Comfortable, neutral grey color, low maintenance. I'm on my third pair (first pair wore to death, second pair destroyed by saltwater and beach sand). Beyond that, I have a pair of leather dress shoes (with leather shoelaces, hell yeah!) and a pair of steel toed boots that I haven't seen for about 8 years but I know is around here SOMEWHERE. Need to add some nomex race shoes to the mix at some point here...
