Yeah the a-pillar and mirror look like a camaro. That pole needs break away bolts unless it is a support beam for something.

Looks like a wooden telephone pole to me, so that wouldn't work.
 
Yeehaa, the German autobahn A 44 towards Kassel is now closed on a stretch of 50 km (Erwitte/Anr?chte to Diemelstadt) until Monday due to lack of road salt.
 
Yesterday I installed my new tweeters in the Volvo.

The car originally had 8 speakers (Volvo style :p) but 4 of them are busted - the tweeters and the rear shelf speakers.

I decided to start by replacing the tweeters. I got a pair from eBay for $3! Yeah, I know what you're thinking - cheap chinese crap that sounds like shit! They aren't. Apparently they are Onkyo/Delco brand (the magnet says Delco) and these are fairly well known names. The other good thing is they are 6oHm...good for my head unit :)

And also they are rated at 20w RMS - realistic. It's not something "OMG 500W!"

Installed them and they sound brilliant! They fit in the factory spot and there is a whole world of difference.

The downside is...the front speakers are now too loud...I need to fit two more speakers in the back :p

And the way the carport was attached to the beams seems to be reverse the angle it should have been for maximum strength. Doesn't take a genius to figure out a bit of snow would cause that.

We usually only get a couple of inches. We've never gotten this much snow in a 24 hour period since records have been kept in the DFW area.

And the demo about that Lexus HS was priceless. The Lexus sales rep was like - "This car features a 177hp internal combustion engine, and a front wheel drive system. It is a double win. Add in a hybrid electric motor, and you get one zippy little four door sports car".

Also :lol: at Toyota. They had probably the biggest floor space, with almost the most number of cars on display. But they had maybe two people looking through them.

I really want a first gen Honda Fit in orange. I saw a second gen model and wow..that's not good looking.

-Rebuild Front Brake Master cylinder
-Repair shift linkage
-Drain and clean fuel tank
-Install Mirrors w/ turn signals
-Flush mount rear signals
-Replace chain
-Replace front and rear sprokets
-Replace Battery
-Replace Tires
-Replace/Repair gauge cluster lens/cluster
-Rebuild Clutch master cylinder
-Replace seat
-Investigate helmet lock and ignition setup
-Repair side plastics
-Repair front fairing and mounting tabs
-Install left side front reflector
