Random Thoughts....

dependent on the material of the shirt, care instructions, if the stain has been treated and the length the stain has been there for.

i'm assuming it's cotton or poly/cotton so usually just a wash with some good detergents and supermarket spotting spray should be right. otherwise a good local dry cleaner will have specialised spotting chemicals for blood. if the shirt has rubberised print/logo on it and is not drycleanable that could be le prob, because the heat might hurt the print.

god i'm a nerd :p

Yes, you are a nerd!! :p

Its one of those hi-vis shirts. I'll go and get something at the supermarket tomorrow then. Cheers big ears :D

What a disappointing week for England... first the football, then rugby and now F1. I guess the english have to wait another year for a title. :p

Bloody hell, just read about it over at f1.com. Sounds like a ripper of a race, can't wait to see some footage.

I have a bunch of homework assignments do for school this upcoming week that I should probably start doing....

But, I just got in from working all day, being out late last night, and waking up early the last three days in a row. So, sod it... I'm going to sit online, watch TV, and maybe, MAYBE go outside to kick around the football if I feel slightly energised.

hehehe, I got up an hour ago in order to do some work for Uni that is due this afternoon. Yeah, no. Oops.

As for lack of sleep? On Tuesday night (last week) I had 3 hours in between starting/finishing a preliminary business report. Handed it in 10mins before its due time. Ah, the life of a Uni student.

I think you people get enough exercise by jumping to conclusions...

Ok, this is probably going to result in my being dragged off by men in white coats or something. If not that then I'm sure most of you will take this chance to mock me without mercy.

I usually don't remember my dreams, or if I do I just get little bits and pieces. I certainly never had a fictional character make an appearance before. I want to be clear that it was the character Kaylee, not Jewel Staite.

Here's what I can remember:

I'm riding my dream motorcycle, a 3rd generation Magna up Route 101 north bound through Marin County north of the Golden Gate Bridge. The day is sunny and there's no traffic. The bike is big and comfortable, the road is perfect, the engine sounds great and I notice the sun glinting off the chrome of the bars and gauges. I feel totally relaxed and at ease, and for some reason Kaylee is riding on the bike behind me. I don't know how I know it's her, but somehow I do, and I know she's smiling. The trees and scenery just sort of blur and the only things that are in focus are the bike and the road.

So here's what I think this means to me:
To me a motorcycle is a symbol of freedom and playfulness. When I ride there's no room for anything but the ride, both literally and figuratively. I have to leave all my worries and cares behind and the ride it's self becomes my singular focus. Unlike a car, which is burdened with extra seats, an insulating cage of glass and steel, spare tires, tools, and extra stuff you hardly ever need or use, a motorcycle is pure and basic. It's two wheels and an engine, the ultimate in individual transportation. Kaylee has always symbolized playfulness, innocence, optimism, and being secure in knowing one's self. She is the distilled essence of many people I have met in my life, and I love spending time with all of them. At first I was surprised that she appeared in my dream, but the more I thought about it the more it made sense. This dream had two very strong icons of independence and freedom; Recently these things have been missing in my life.

Or maybe I just need to stop looking at motorcycle ads and reading Serenity Found before bed. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Yeah, it's off to the loony bin with you.
