Random Thoughts....

how is hey hey? Was ozzie ostrich on there? I loved him.... But Daryl Sommers turned me off watching it. Will look on youtube for Ozzie if he made it.

They've had everyone BUT Ozzie. Don't know why, but apparently the guy who played him is about 80 so I don't think so but you never know. But the show's almost over so I don't know.

Pretty sure Ozzie was 'retired' a fair while ago.

Personally, the only thing I enjoy of Hey Hey is Red Faces, the rest is so-so.

I?d like to confess something. Deep down in my heart, I?m an evil man.

I have this policy that I don?t give to beggars. Nothing. If you give beggars money or stuff, you are basically supporting that lifestyle, helping them to live on the streets etc - and I don?t want to support this. (please remember, I?m speaking about Germany here - nobody has to live on the street here or be hungry - our national welfare system, social services and also a lot of donation funded programs can and WILL help anyone who wants it)

But that?s not the evil part (actually I think giving beggars money is truely evil - even If you just want to help them) now I?ve started giving beggars these:

Tokens from a store ... of wich if you collect some dozend of, you they?ll give you little sample for free (or something like that). They have about the same size and weight as 1Euro coins. And are worth absolutley nothing. So far none of them noticed (too drunk to notice) anyway.
So Ive been praised a lot these last days from stinking men with beards ... and prob hated by the same men some minutes later.

It might sound mean, but most of the beggars are really, really annoying these days and like follow you for 5 min, telling you some stupid story how they need money for some good cause (while they stink of cheap wine and piss). I like to think of this as payback and a cheap way to shut them up.

On second thought, I?m not evil. I?m Jebus himself!

Read a story on a Sydney news site about a homeless bloke who makes $50 000 a year through donations on the street. That's the just about the national average wage! For doing nothing!

It's official - nsx_23 has way cooler toys than me.

If I put cupholder bunny in a wind tunnel, I'm pretty sure it'd get blown into a wall. Poor bunnerz.

I have a 20 dollar bill in my wallet that is waiting to be given to the first honest begger I meet. If I see a begger who says he just wants to buy booze, the money is his.*

*the bill is about 10 years old now.

bah, you're all not evil enough... what you should do (if you have the time & patience) is find a bum, offer to buy him some food, and then go out and buy something really expensive...

of course he'd rather have 10 bucks to buy more booze/drugs with, but he can't really be made at you since you fed him...

You backup your porn?

Let me explain what happens, when I try to back up or move something the computer freezes and sends the files to the trash. So back up now = delete.

And no to all you people and your porn comments D:<

Indeed it was, and so was XP, and 98 and 95. All OS's need time to find their feet. Vista, now on service pack 2 is an excellent stable OS.

Yeah I should have known better so I am downgrading back to something that works until they make this one actually run.

Couple of potential solutions for you:

Do you have a Logitech mouse or keyboard with the Logitech Control Center drivers installed? They seem to cause a lot of freezes under Snow Leopard.

Also, from what I can read in the Apple Support forums, Safari can cause lots of freezes and if it does, it seems best not using it for the time being. If you use it, do you have plugins you used under Leopard still installed?

Hope that helps.

I don't use safari or a mouse. I have a laptop and I mostly use the touchpad. I deleted all non-snow leopard compatible things when I upgraded.

Exam in 25 minutes, and I've studied so much in the past 2 days, I can't bring myself to look over anything else. My brain is tired. :(

We spent out HR tutorial today building towers out of paper sheets, getting marked on "Height, Stability and Beauty".

Why am I going to these things again?

Here is something you can try. I assume you are backing up by connecting an external drive.

Go to->Applications->Utilities->Terminal.app

Type $: sudo rsync -avzPE /Users/[username] /Volumes/[External Drive Name]/

If it doesn't keep crashing at the same spot keep running it until it has copied everything over.

That will copy all your personal files over to the root directory of your backup disk.

Huzzah I changed my avatar! :p
