Recognition of Final Gear by Top Gear production team

...and seeing that the people who produce one of the best, if not the best (IMO), shows on TV at the moment...

I've always referred to Top Gear as the best show [not] on [American] television. It is easily one of my favorites and I'm not even that interested in cars. It's always entertaining and sometimes informative. Plus, the three of them, Clarkson, Hammond and May are as great a team as I've ever seen on television. They work perfectly together.

Seeing the participation of BBC/Top Gear people on sites like this is really awesome and quite endearing.

I really hope it's more like tye cheap car challenges (cheap Porsche, none-Porsche-coup?s) and totally unscripted unlike last week's (09x02) coup? challenge, which seemed a bit fake.

I agree, and I think it will be. I mean, do you really think they could get a bunch of Americans in THE SOUTH to play along with 3 Brits?

I hope the 5th gear team reads the forums too, the might get rid of Poochy Lovejoy.

Top Gear must be taking great delight in 5th gears horrific new direction. It helps highlight what a professional production team Top Gear must have in comparison.

It's nice to know Andy reads the forums, so i'd like to take this opportunity to thank him for a great show and I hope he passes on my thanks to the rest of the team.

Should you ever want to film a story or two in Western Australia, send me a message; i'll buy you all a beer.

It's good to hear people from the production actually come in to this forum and read, maybe even for ideas and suggestion offers.

soooo

that makes the bbc.co.uk webmaster
one of the mag editors
and now the show director?

niiiiice

Why is everyone so suprised? They came here when they needed a Camaro specialist in Florida, of course they read our BS. 8)

..also that post from "Jeremy" a while back, see, the whole TG team logs on.

That said, i hope Mr Wilman regularly reads my personnal objective commentry and constructive criticism.

He could get a lot from it.

Excellent!! Now that the Big Daddy of Top Gear is watching us, perhaps someone can
tell him that we have a customized helmet made specifically for Hammond, and he
can also watch us bash the heck out of that Fifth Gear's Lovejoy guy.

This makes me want to go to the Baltimore Auto Show here tomorrow and see if they have the Veyron there. If so, I'll try to ask "Hey, why haven't you let the Stig drive the Veyron around the Top Gear Test Track?"

Hopefully they see how many Americans love the show and throw us a bone.

no wait, you can't have American TV without commercials.. damn

my, aren't we full of ourselves today. :p

Hey, misterdirectorpersonwhoihadnoideawhoitwasuntill10minutesago!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Viper007Bond, VUK, and all other contributors to this site.

Quality websites like this rarely exist. Being from America, I don't have access to the show and this website has made it a lot easier on all of us to catch our favorite (unedited) show.

Thanks again guys and keep up the good work!!!

  :D

They call commercial-free TV "PBS" here. Unfortunately, it's donation driven.

I'm glad they use this website has a resource instead of attacking it. I also hope they realize how many international fans they have of the series! Believe us, we'd buy the DVDs if they were available, or watch the show (In its proper form) if it was aired! But this is the best we can do!

I bet America would give it a two hour timeslot, or cut it down to 35 minutes.

This so unreal. Ubercool!
