So, I have taken a liking for traveling and meeting FG members.
Now that I've been to the Ringmeet, I would really like to meet people from the USA. Texas looks like one of the places with a high density of members (also, I want to go to Texas, but that's not the main reason ).
Anyways: when would it be the best time for that? I am planning on doing that next year.

Perhaps I could also make a stop in California, so the same questions apply: when is the best time? Anyone up?

Well, in terms of schedules, I can't think of any season that's bad for most Texas members (i.e., no month when the entire state packs up and goes on holiday as in some countries.) On the other hand, this might help with your decision making:

Yeah, I'm free pretty much whenever. Just give me a couple month's notice and I can collect you from the airport if you land in Houston or Dallas. I'm sure the rest of the Texas contingent would show up/form a motorcade.

Just make sure you bring yur shootin' gear

Don't need to worry about gear, I have spare eye and ear protection. You just gotta pay for the ammo.
