Well, I have yet to know a gun owner that doesn?t like blades in general, so a thread about our knives seems about right.

My mother collects [superfluously silly] handmade knives, she has several with hand layered damascus blades, gold screws, mammoth and walrus ivory handles, fancy annodized trim bits, custom hardwood cases, etc.

Mine aren't nearly as nice, but they're practical. I have another dozen or so many of which are large tactical style back home, but these are what I have with me now.

From top to bottom:

Browning limited edition something or other, picked this up from a gun show for quite a bit less than half the normal cost from a seller who didn't know what it was. Damascus blade, mother of pearl bit on the handle. This is the knife I wear when I'm "dressed up" for anything.

Magnum Boker with a tanto blade. "Push button lock" which everyone calls a switchblade and declares illegal. I wear this when doing work of some sort, the tanto point is fantastic for opening boxes and other things.

CRKT Longs Peak. This is one of my two daily carries, I tweaked the hinge a bit so I can snap it open quick as a switchblade single-thumbed.

Basic Buck knife, this is the other of my daily carries. Good all around knife.

And I keep all of them just about sharp enough to shave with, though looking at this picture the blades look like the need evening out quite a bit.

"That's not a knife."

I know none of them are ACTUAL knives, but...I don't use actual knives, so the ones I have are just cool-looking. :p Granted, there are a couple on there that were lame and cheap...but I kept 'em anyways.

I don't have a single picture of my butterfly handy

I had mine taken away in Germany. :( I had bought it in a tourist area during the day, and was playing with it, alone, in my room in the hostel, with the door closed. Somehow, someone knew about it, or recognized the sound. *shrugs* In any event, they came in, asked for it, and threw it away.

The Browning looks SO GOOD. Great purchase!

Good enough to be posted here! :)
Nice selection.
Here are some of my blades:
The two on the right are the knives I carry the most, since I'm being rather limited in what I'm allowed to carry by the german laws.
What is the legal limit?

@cmb1981

Nice ones!

It just occurred me: how common is for you to carry any of those?
