Spot Them Beater Cars

This is a regular at classic car shows I attend in the Northwest. Yes the owner is proud enough of this to put it on display. It's truly the worst thing I've seen on the road.

First impressions, a rather rare Morris Minor van, in average condition for a 1968 vehicle?

Roof gutters must have had a niggle of rust in the past, I'm sure that could be repaired with... metal, any old metal will do, and woodscrews?

Some gutter even remains!

A nice touch is the new colour coded duct tape.

I'm no welder, but I'm not sure this is up to scratch. Unsure about those lights as well! (Trailer board anyone?)

Pixelated wheelarch makes more a nice design.

As it happens, the otherside is the same.

I'm not even sure what's going on here.
 
Now ... I?m not sure if this isn?t actually intentional and the mother of all hipster-mobiles ... but IMO this is sleeping beauty, just waiting for a prince to wake her from her sleep ...

It does have a chrome tailpipe though... :p

Seeing the 8th and 9th gen f-trucks in that state makes me wonder what's holding them together.
