Team Fortress 2

I've been playing on the Team Roomba servers (where those kareoke videos came from) and I've been kicking ass and taking names. The last few nights have been some of my best games ever. The only problem is that they take a few things that are not funny and repeat them through the night, like 3 different people will make sounds like a cats meow over and over and over.

Yeah, it looks like public servers, but a lot of that stuff seemed odd, like teleporting underground and having teleporters that worked instantly.

I've played one a server that has those features... instant SG build is sort of... defeats the purpose I felt... especially if you're playing dustbowl or goldrush, where if you're on offense, you are relying on the fact that the defense's gonna take more time to respawn and build up in order to stop you. Otherwise, it'll be impossible to advance as the offense.

I watched some of the daedalus How To videos on youtube and now I love playing with the scout/spy. I used to hate scout...

It's only fair if offense also gets a ton of mods. The crits make it a lot easier to take down a sentry, medics uber faster (due to the healing aura), or you can just toss an implosion grenade towards the sentry and one-shot it.

Team Fortress 2 Pyro Update Week
Valve today announced a set of new releases for Team Fortress 2, the title named Multiplayer Game of the Year by PC Gamer and Gamespy.com.

The main event of the week is the Pyro Update, which will be made available this Thursday and contains three unlockable new weapons for the Pyro plus 35 new achievements. In addition, two user-created maps are included to highlight the great work being done in the community and distribute those works to all TF2 players..

Meanwhile as folks wait for the Pyro Update to be released, the latest in the "Meet the Team" video shorts, "Meet the Sniper," will be made available tomorrow (Tuesday, June 17) at 11 am PDT along with a web site dedicated to the Pyro update.

Finally, to give everyone a chance to try the new weapons and community maps, Valve will hold another Team Fortress 2 Free Weekend via Steam beginning this Friday at 11 am PDT.

I know its rude, but that roomba stuff sadly cracks me up. Somehow reminds me of BF1942 moments, sometimes shit like that was annoying, and sometimes, despite everything, it made my day.
