Test Drive Unlimited

Hardcore mode was fun when my mate came round. He stole the pedals, and refused to at least give me access to the clutch. We got bored of stalling and changed to a Murcielago.

I've also realised that I have only sold one car, which was about 5 mins old. When I need/want a new car, and don't have enough garage space, I simply buy another house. I wish real life was that simple.

Anyone able to get the Logitech Driving Force (non-pro) wheel work in TDU? I've installed the drivers and it recognizes the wheel correctly, but I was not able to re-assign the buttons and steering to the wheel. If anyone got it to work, please help.

Edit: I was able to get to to work after a few restarts. idk what was the problem, but now it works. :D

Awesome stuff! That made me feel like doing one too!

Another thing I've always wanted to do is a Top Gear style review. You can have a camera car and even a test track! The only problem is there is no decent in car shots, and it would require great precision and co-operation between the two people doing it. You'd need to do it over LAN in the same room or something.

Thats a really good idea, if you can coordinate it, that is.

A large cookie for whoever gets that done.

I would mind having a go. I'll be the camera car probally.

Or maybe if 3 people get 3 cars and have another camera car, there could be a big road trip ;)

So I did.

I basically copied Loz's idea in 'Time Is Running Out' - but with an F430. I'll make a better one tomorrow. Woo for the tacky name of Wait Up!

UPDATE: SEE POST BELOW FOR VIDEO!

It freezes the image for a bit in the middle, but I don't know why or how to correct it.

How do you get new cars for the game? Is there anyway other than the patch (which I have) ? Also what car should I get for 330,000?

You can only get the cars Atari gives you. The game is non moddable except for a few bits.

I would go for an Ascari for $330,000, but thats just me.

I don't and ever did think about that. I just got the cars I needed for the races, got shitloads of money then had enough to just buy anything when I feel like it.

If I run out of garage space, I just buy another house. And if I am running low on cash, I buy a car new, then sell it on the trade system for millions (yes it works!) - you just put it up for sale then wait a couple of days.

Oh how I wish real life were like that.

Great remake!

With a guy in an Enzo Ferrari...who can park unlike some certain individuals who I will not mention...

jk

^ :p. He was totally unplanned in the video, so was the person on the Motorbike you get a quicke view of.

I have a fantastic idea for another video. A Tunnel Symphony, get a few of us, find a good tunnel and get what you consider the best sounding cars. I'll do the recording while a few guys drive. PM or contact on MSN if interested.

I remade my video with the F430, only I used a Mercedes SL. It also now doesn't freeze in the middle. And is better because it starts from the most awesome house in the game. I have removed the F430 one.

^ Good video, i reckon you shouldn't have removed the old one, it was pretty good.

Have you got those sounds going i gave you?

^ Thanks and I haven't tried to get them working yet.
