Nah, Blu-Ray is more future proofed and technically can deliver higher quality Audio and Video, which will make the enthusiast go for it. Higher bitrates for Video data (up to 50+MBps vs 40-48? MBps) and nothing beats uncompressed Audio (HD-DVD might do this, but I am not sure).I think HD-DVD will win it

Well.........if we look at it in the context of the last format war.........I've heard that one of the biggest reasons why VHS won out over Betamax casettes was because the porn industry decided to go with VHS. Betamax was a higher quality format, but VHS was cheaper and easier to produce.
So that leads up to where we are now......and I've heard rumor that most of the porn industry is signing on with HD-DVD rather then Blu-Ray. It may not correlate, but we'll see I suppose. I kind of have a feeling that HD-DVD will win out, but have no real basis for that feeling (just a gut reaction I guess).

They both look exactly the same, and sound exactly the same.
I have the 360 with HD-DVD and a ps3
I have the same setup, so i buy movies in both formats, i dont give a flinging five about the format wars right now. Plus ive watched the same movies in both formats on my tv and yes, i can't tell the difference in audio and sound either.
