I don't know whit LOD CBF or DAC means but it does look like a lot of overkill for mp3 output from an ipod

Just got this baby to replace my bro's 4 year old, 15.6", 1.8GHz (dual core), 1GB RAM, MDG Visionbook.

It was $250 off, and it has very similar specs to my PC:

2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo (mine is 2.66)
Both have a 500GB HDD
Both have a Radeon HD4670 GPU
Both have 4GB of RAM
Both have Windows 7 64-bit (although mine is Ultimate and the laptop's is Home Premium)
Both have ASUS motherboards, so both have all those brilliant little ASUS programs.

I just ordered the parts for my new computer, ended up being just over 300 bucks for everything while reusing my existing hard drive. This will be replacing my 7 year old 32 bit system so even this cheapie will be a huge upgrade.

too late now... Oh well, this comp is mostly just for surfing the web and watching movies. as long as it performs better than my Gforce 5700 thats AGP, I'll be happy.

Yeah, those weak graphics cards with 1 GB VRAM are a complete scam. The cards aren't powerful enough to utilize it.

EDIT: Yes, it is still better than a Geforce 5700

you shoulda grabbed a used gaming graphics card off of a trusted gamer from one of the forums -_-. i sold my 4850 for $80 on one of those forums. and i regret it lol.


I am luvin my logitech g500. hyperscroll is sweet for scrolling through big pages and the extra buttons are nice.

Also, bought a pair of sennheiser HD 205s. these things are super tight around my cranium. if i dont set them to their max size, they put too much pressure on my ears.

Its a Lancool K62, aka the poor mans LianLi. Its made by a subsidiary of LianLi but its made from steel. Its 100% toolless and has some nice features at a pretty low price point

That shape is very CoolerMaster. The HAF 9xx series is quite good as well.

HAF is nice, but I always wondered if lots of dust will come in through the big holes everywhere...
Also the Fractal Design somebody in here recently bought and the new Xigmateks I do like. Those 4 are THE sub 100 Euro Cases in my book...
