We have the 911 porn thread because some of the stuff that gets shared here is to awesome for the Awesome thread. Weird, but true.
And since I don't wanna spam the Awesome thread with my N?rburgring Nordschleife videos which I constantly post, I thought it may very well be worth it's own thread.

Feel free to post anything N?rburgring-related, wether it may be pictures, news or shareworthy videos.
But please refrain from posting to many crash videos - this is about showing how awesome it is, I don't wanna see people clapping when some one else crashes.

I'll start with some of my favorites:

caution: loud.

what momentum is all about.

I fully approve of this thread. Sometimes things get lost in other threads. :)

Very very few things seem scarier than riding a S1000RR at the ring.

Interesting bit starts at 7:50.

Oops, very unlucky there. Can't say I've ever heard of a fuel tank falling out of a car before.

I remember Bongard from last year, fortunately I didn't have to pay anything for the recovering from the 'Ring car park.

It's a really weird case. I was last at the Ring some two weeks ago and saw these guys there, the S14, the Civic and the Integra. Talked to them briefly, really chilled guys. I think there were actually more cars of them, I remember an Estoril blue E36. Such a shame this happened, but nothing he could do. He actually reacted really quick.

And for all those Pok?mon fans out there:

Watch it till the end!

What would I give to drive the N?rburgring in its original state, how it was before it was changed in the very early 70s.

I am still searching for a full onboard of a pre-71 lap on the Ring. If anyone knows one, feel free to post.

When someone tells you he's frightened of today's version with all the guardrail and comparatively smooth surface, show him that...

But anyway, I'd sell my soul to drive this old layout.

Watching Nurburgring videos from this weekend to see if I can catch Lucille (or any other FGer) going around, spotted what seems to be a green Challenger.

Wasn't expecting seeing that.

Wasn't expecting seeing that.
Why not?

The Challenger doesn't strike me as having a huge following in Europe. Especially since judging by the shade of green (Green With Envy), thats a pre-facelift. Those aren't great cars, and kudos to whoever went through the trouble to import one. Plus there can't be too many green Challengers in Europe so it was cool to see one on the 'Ring.

We get a lot of US cars in Europe too, it wasn't the only one on track that day. :p

couple of race ones were there too, corvettes, mustangs. all sorts really. ^^

Oh I know, but I expect Mustangs and Corvettes, not Challengers. They're a lot less popular here with sales figures being about half of Mustang numbers, so I imagine they're pretty rare over there. I didn't mean it as a bad comment, just surprise to see that particular car in that particular color seeing as how I even double take when I see it here (in Motor City where brightly colored muscle cars are a dime a dozen).

Yeah, even plain colored ones stick out here, as they are out of the ordinary, and i did't take it as bad either, just curious to why you thought it was an odd one out, of all the things that go around that track, hehe.

But we got some Challengers about, old and new.
I've been helping putting body parts back on this thing as of late.
