The Panorama Thread [56k = no, expect widescreen stuff]

San Francisco Skyline from Dolores Park

From a hill next to my town... Not very good conditions. Due to the snow everything was very bright... I feel blind now... anyway, I like the result nevertheless.

Will take another one when it's green in spring.

People getting in the photos can be a pain when you shoot in public places. Luckily I've found the auto-align and auto-blend features in PS so I can get rid of them with multiple layers of the same panorama. Shame my locations aren't very spectacular.

The prairies suck

but prairie storms are awesome

I should stop keeping the polarizer on all the time, had to work the sky to make it look not stupid looking

I posted it sideways in Lens Flair, here it is vertically. Baha, 180 degree vertical panoramas are fun.

and it turns out that ISO 800 isn't even enough for a f3.5 lens at night (not doing starfails) and it's the highest usable speed my camera goes to, ah well

Stitch of some old boat those silly Swedes managed to sink and lift from the bottom of the sea. Had to have a full shot but only had my 35 mm with me, worked rather well for a first try I think. :)
