Are they using the American Fanta recipe or the European Fanta recipe? The European recipe uses fruit juice and the American one uses artificial flavoring.
just from the taste, i am certain (in the strawberry fanta at least) there was nothing even remotely resembling real juice. i think the ingredients list confirms that, but i'll have another look at lunch today. anyway, the classic orange fanta wasn't bad at all, so i might take a look at that again as well...

What. The. Fuck.

I think I need to stop by Allentown...seriously that's awesome.
They ship much farther than Allentown (the can above was actually purchased in Montgomeryville), so you might wanna check local stores, first. Also, I've only seen sucrose in the 12 oz cans and 2 L bottles of Coke and vanilla Coke. 7.5 oz cans, 20 oz bottles, and all size of Barq's and Sprite must be from a different bottler, since those all have HFCS.

Verdict: No...just...no. It literally tastes like you added Mt. Dew to powdered lemonade drink. I'm not sure why I expected anything different, but the result was not pleasant.

The Citrus Cherry one (they come out with a Game Fuel version of this flavor every years, it seems, starting with WOW back in the day) is waaaaay better.

A-Treat beverages shuts down operations after nearly century of business: report

A-Treat Beverages shut down operations on Friday after nearly a century of business in the Lehigh Valley, according to media reports

The closure brings an end to the business that began making soda three generations ago in 1918 out of Joseph and Jack Egizio's downtown Allentown three-car garage, according to the company's website.

The closure put about 40 people out of work, according to the Allentown Morning Call.

The company opened its most current plant at 2001 Union Blvd. in east Allentown in 1932, according to the company.

Loyal A-Treat customers may come to miss the Birch Beer, which the company calls "a unique flavor peculiar to the region" and a top request from out-of-town consumers.

Was able to snag some bottles of the red cream soda, pineapple, and Big Blue yesterday, but pretty much every grocery store and beer distributor was already cleaned out. I hear some places might get a little more stock tomorrow, but that'll be it.

Had this a couple weeks ago. Tasted like mild, carbonated mouthwash. :)

This would make an awesome ice cream float with either vanilla or carmel pecan ice cream. Sweet? Very...but disappointingly, you lose the maple flavor by the end...mostly just get a cane sugar taste. Definitely better than Lester's Fixins's Buffalo Chicken or Sweet Corn sodas. Not bad at all.

Meh...pretty mild for a root beer. Somehow, a member of his family is involved.

Marshmallow soda

Verdict on beef jerky soda: somehow worse than the chocolate bacon soda. It smelled liked burned chocolate-flavored plastic, with a hint of hamster cage. Tasted like it, too.

Bought this to try at some point tomorrow://SNIP//
Oh these things have become very popular over here in the recent years... especially with a certain crowd. alright i'll say it: hipsters! :p well, not exactly (those all go with mate nowadays), but i don't know what else to call them. but usually, they're quite alright and a refreshing change from the usual stuff. in my opinion though, they're simply too expensive for what they are (a glorified soda).

also: I love how in the US it's actually an advertisable thing that something is made with actual sugar instead of HFCS

In general, I would stay away from any soda that is supposed to have any sort of smoky flavor (beef jerky, bacon, chocolate bacon, etc).
