With all that is happening in Japan I now understand why the Japanese are so weird. When your world can kill at any moment, you have to release some stress on a regular basis.

According to German THW relief workers Sendai is pretty much intact.

Inner city Sendai maybe, but most the surrounding area is gone. The airport and harbour are well beyond knackered.
