tranceporter's 2007 Honda S2000

Nice ride indeed.

...until you replaced the front bumper...

looks good will! you can run on the track without a rollbar, just with the stock hoops?

thanks lev! it was a redline time attack event and the car made it through inspection. there were other s2k's there that weren't running bars so i guess they're pretty lax. what i've heard about hpde events is that you may need a bar and hand restraints. need to look into it

How hard can it be? :clarkson:

you'd be surprised. experience in computer hardware & software, plumbing, electrical and even paint work if you want the machines to look pretty and nice

Where did you take those pix? Love the industrial back drop!

shot them by my house in central jersey. it used to be all farms at one point and i found this hidden behind all the new developments.

do you ever go to caesar's bay? i'm there every other wed or friday with my car club. they're the kids with the white evo 7, red pulsar gti-r, white jdm fd3s w/ the black advan's, etc. they usually park by the td bank.

Yes but can you make the car run on espresso? haha

Nice S2000, i would get one myself but don't think it would be practical for me haha

i wish they did, then business would sky rocket  we also roast the stuff so that'd be a nice way to market espresso. 45mpg and a sweet nutty aftertaste with a heavy crema!

i picked up a 1995 jeep grand cherokee for $1500. it was a bit of a fix me up but it does the daily grind pretty well.

The question is, can you power an espresso machine with a car engine?

well.. theoretically you can use a power converter on the 12v power outlet and run a small home use espresso machine

Nice, tranceporter. I especially enjoy the way you were driving the numbers off it in the time attack. :D

vtec ;) i kid.. i kid

Nice ride indeed.

...until you replaced the front bumper...

that's the factory bumper just shaved and with the oem lip :(

i've been so busy (new job, etc) that i haven't posted in a bit. looking to fix that. here's an update..

i went on to do a few more events last season. i haven't been out yet this season since the car needs some fresh rubber and a new clutch. as soon as that's on, i'll be terrorizing the track

I think it looked better before the suspension job. Never mind my opinion though, awesome car properly used = epic win :D

I love this car!

those pics are from a while back. at one point i "slammed" the car to see what it was all about. the car sat like this:

but it was useless on the track. i raised it for the last few events i did at the end of last year and haven't bothered lowering it again. how she sits now

Spooly-spooly :D

Nice mods, your car now has as much torque as a diesel Golf! :p

Glad you came back- I can't wait to see some track footage.

thanks. i will be, hopefully later in the season. need some fresh rubber and brakes. i still barely make torque but it's ok. i learned to live without it. my old mk5 gti made 280wtq on a stage 1 tune

I love this car!

(And espresso...hook a coco up?)

thanks! i've actually moved on from the coffee. i do media, marketing, web, etc for a performance shop
