I'm going on a 4 month journey through vietnam, cambodia, laos, malaysia, and thailand.

Does anyone know if there are places where one can go and have a track day? Money is a factor but not a huge one. That's about it, can this be done and if it can be I shall document it.

Doesn't matter what kind of car or bike for that matter, anything goes from go-karts to fully prepped race cars.

mmmhhh... Bushracing might be an option, but make sure you'll have a winch bolted on your bumper.

Malaysia might be the best bet there, with Sepang, or some other smaller track.

Malaysia.

I don't think the other countries you mentioned have any good race tracks.

I don't need a good track, I just want an environment where I can open up an engine and let'r rip.

I'm fairly certain anything at sepang would be out of my range price wise.

Just an idea call/email one of their FIA affiliated auto clubs/groups. Foreigners wanting to do track days/auto related stuff should be just up their ally. Just an idea, I have no idea if it would work.
