Used car for 5 grand?

The engine is not the only problem, everything was knackered when I got it, brakes, front right suspension , power windows, stereo.. will take a lot to fix every thing up, might as well part it out at this point.

So, in other words, you have an older Focus? :p
 
If you go Honda, get an Accord for the price range that you are in. The newer ones are boats but the older ones are smaller and a lot better built then their Civic cousins. They are built to last forever and as long as it is a manual have a little bit of go.
