V8 Supercar street pit stop

A year ago I suggested TGAU missed the perfect opportunity for a street pit stop when they had Ford Performance Racing's V8 Supercar to play with.

And reverse parking outside the school isn't suspenseful - certainly not like Red Bull's NASCAR pit stop between traffic light changes in Times Square.

Almost a year to the day, V8 Supercars did it Brisbane.

OFFICE workers and lunchtime shoppers were treated to a taste of what can be expected at next week?s Armor All Gold Coast 600 when they stood metres from a random V8 Supercar pit stop in the middle of Edward Street in Brisbane today.
