Volkswagen said it will compensate owners of its heavily polluting diesel vehicles in Germany in a settlement that will cost the German carmaker 830 million euros.

UK class action
n March 2019 the Court ordered a trial of two preliminary issues to determine issues of law which our clients’ claim centres on. This trial will be heard in December 2019. A further trial to determine liability of VW for deceit and the other claims our clients are brining, together with a decision if any compensation is to be paid to the claimants, will likely be heard in 2021.

Where is all this money coming from? Are they really profiting this much? This is incredible.

Also says something about VW’s money management compared with GM and Chrysler LLC.

VAG annual profit tends to be in the low double digit billion euro.
