We're almost there. This is the last "normal" vore before we can set about to vote on our all time favourite rally car.

So which is your favourite WRC car. Please note that all evolutions of one car e.g all Imprezas will be represented in one voting option even if a specific model is shown in the picture.

Subaru and Petter Solberg, teh only reason why im watching WRC.

i think the impreza has a good chance of winning this.

Impreza for me :D. Especially the road surface version...hot.

I like the Focus's looks, but Gronholm just seems like a angry and hateful old man, i might just be misinterpreting him though

Oh gee look; the Impreza takes the highest in the poll.

I declare this thread closed!

Subaru Impreza WRC, even though it's temperamental and breaks down all the time and it doesn't look as good as a 206 and it isn't faster than the Focus or the C4. It's my favorite because it sounds evil.

I dont get the fascination for the rubbish Impreza. The 206 slaughtered everything when it came out and still is the most well-proportioned of the bunch. Kudos to PSA for the idea to make a rally car out of a convertible though, unfortunately it didnt go too well. Of course it may have been a coverstory for the development of the Xsara... (or maybe not)

The C4 Coup? is delicious of course, but it suffers the Ferrari-syndrome thanks to Loeb winning a little too much for my liking...
I quite like the Focus WRC too. I've never seen the 3-door on the streets though, I wonder where they shipped the 100 (?) or so cars they had to make of it... The C4 is everywhere, even a few Loeb-editions running around town.

Yes, but there is no romance and legacy tied to the 206. Same reason why the French think American cars are crap, then go ape shit when they see the Corvette at Lemans.

How is an Impreza romantic?
Makes me think of that nice picture of a man doing his car... literally. No we shall not post it :D

The old Lancers! Followed closely by the Escort.

if you dont get the Impreza, then you'll never understand, lets just leave it at that.

I like the Suzuki Sx-4 looks quite cool.

I like the Impreza,Lancer, and Focus also.

No Lancia. You suck..... :p

I don't understand why the OP sucks for not including a car that Lancia never built to the best of my knowledge. As far as i recall, they stopped making rally cars with the Lancia Delta Integrale which was a Group A car.

Hyundai.... Racing?

You already forget Hyundai had an Accent rally car on the WRC circuit for a few years? They showed WRC on the Speed channel back then, remember? It was AWD and 300 hp, but since it was a WRC class car, they werent required to make the street versions have the same specs

WRC
Hyundai's Accent World Rally Car competed in an official capacity, spawning three generations, in the World Rally Championship from 2000 to 2003. The car was eventually retired from service before its final season was out, with no major victories or podiums. The car, though, in such capable hands across its lifespan as four-times driver's champion Juha Kankkunen, ex-Subaru rally-winning and former Group A Champion Kenneth Eriksson and former British Rally Champion Alister McRae, albeit the former two in the twilight of their careers, was reasonably competitive at times and showed some promise. Belgian Freddy Loix and 1991 Rally Catalunya winner Armin Schwarz were among the other drivers so long synonymous with life in the works-fettled Accents.
