What's your latest [non-technology] purchase?

If you have the time then go to the Montgomery Inn - the ribs there are out of this world, at least they were when I was there in 2001.

Next time, perhaps; I was picking up a car and had to run quickly after eating lunch.

OK, it's been a while since I've posted anything here, so it's time to catch up a bit.

A couple of months ago, I caught these hydraulic car skates on sale at Eastwood. The set of 4 should make moving the non-running projects a bit easier!

I've also been shopping and watching for a sale on Borla's 'Touring' cat-back system for the WRX. Direct from Borla, it was going to be over $800 with tax & shipping. So, while just playing around one day, I keyed in the part number to Amazon and found that they had one in their warehouse for about $200 less! Needless to say, I jumped on it!
I'll FINALLY be able to get rid of the fart can!!
The Big Brown Truck brought it today:

Finally, when I opened the big Borla box, I found this... not too big a deal considering what I spent, but they didn't HAVE to throw it in...

Return flights to Verona and an Air B'n'B for 5 nights in Malcesine on Lake Garda for the middle of September.

Bellissimo!!

A camping bed and a camping chair since my old ones didn't survive last year's roadtrip and ringmeet...

Funny that should come up, I was trying to remember what year I met you both at RIAT after my boss mentioned his visit this weekend. :)

You bought an EV? ;)

No, But I prefer to get some power in my tent for the week I'm staying at the campsite. And the pack was priced quite favourably compared to just the reel (50 vs 32 eur)

Well we're half way through November and I'm a big kid so naturally it's time to look at advent calendars. I saw the Wera toolkit calendar last year so naturally I looked at that first, however this year the tools really aren't much use to me. They look like good quality though. I looked for any unsold items from last year, only finding one on eBay that is going for a ridiculous price at £60 with a couple of days left.

Anyway, thanks to the Hudraulic Press Channel I found out about one sold in Lidl, so picked one of those up, the last one in the shop! :D

Over the month you build up a nice little toolkit with the rarest of items (to me at least), a ratchet T-bar. This will live in the frunk of my Smart and it seems perfect at half of the price of the Wera calendar.

I've purchased a new blow dryer. The old one is broken because of my sister - she just left it on her bed and then accidentally sit on it... No chance to survive after that butt :) I've looked for the recommendations of new dryer here:
https://mystraightener.com/top-17-best-hair-dryers-reviews/
I've chosen Dyson Supersonic and it's good for my needs. I hope it will stand longer than the old one :)

Two new belts for my belt sander: 36 and 80 grit, 50 pack of 40 grit discs for my RO sander, six 10oz tubes of Liquid Nails for subfloor, kao pad fried chicken and beef pad kee mau.

Brembo pads, some TRW rear calipers and some Foliatec Racing Rosse paint.

Ace Combat 7, two bottles of wine (for a friend), a bottle of Kraken, and some root beer.
