Your Camera Equipment

Finally got my new bag and desided that was a good time to take a pic of all my stuff (before I spent half an hour moving velcro compartments to get it all organized)

Hey, for your next purchase i suggest the vertical grip for that sexy D80. Works wonders for your grip and you can have both batteries in it at once. Plus you get vertical controls (both dials, shutter button and AE/AF button).

^ Hehe, I haven't really considered that, seeing that I have kinda girly hands and the camera is big enough as it is :)

Fair enough, my hands are quite large-ish. I'll take photos of how it fits in my hand with and without it. Uno momento, por favor.

EDIT: Here we go. Without and with. As you can see, without it is just too small for my hand.

EDIT #2: the difference in colour between the lens and body isn't that big, the surface of the lens has a weird finish and reflects the flash a lot more. Can also be seen in this post, i thought sigma lenses lose their black finish over time, but it looks like it's down to the flash being used for the photo.

You have sasquatch-hands!

Well, after having my 350D stolen overseas I finally got the insurance cheque and waited or it to clear. Since I had the insurance cheque to give me a push along, I thought I'd upgrade.

Got an absolute killer deal on...

EOS 40D
Sigma 17-70 2.8-4.5

I can't wait to get out and start using it. I know that having this camera will only encourage me to further my photography and skill set. Very very excited.

Without the lens of course,

Wired shutter release, a Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 (not the VR one)

Plenty of other lenses about to join the pipeline, including a 300mm F/2.8, a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR among others.

I also have a few D80 bodies to play with :) Pretty much one cam for every body essentially, should the need arise.

 I have those too, the fishy is so fun to play with :D

I bet the reason he hasn't posted yet is that he's busily Photoshopping a picture of an 80-200 AF-S. ;)

haha.. or maybe even a Canon 70-200 2.8 :D

It's funny.. I often hear Canon people argue that Nikon needs a 70-200 f/4. It seems people forget that you can buy an 80-200 2.8 new for about the same price... but you get the same pro optics with 2.8 glass :p

I am here I am here !!

Shit I seem to have made a BIIIG FUCKING STUPID MISTAKE

It's an 80-200mm f/2.8 :)
