Oh, I forgot to mention that Jeremy Clarkson actually physically touched me. Sadly, not in an inappropriate way, though.

My mother's cousin was head of the stock control at McLaren Formula One, and he knew Ayrton Senna.

My mother also worked with a guy who's brother Rob Hart used to play for the Miami Dolphins.

I used to work for Valentino Garavani and Vivienne Westwood, within a couple of degrees you have every famous person since the sixties. In those jobs I've also met a-f list celebrities.

My father does pencil portraits of famous people and to complete them he seeks to have them sign it. So I am 1 degree of separation from some famous people, I guess.
Most famous of which is the Dalai Lama, others are more "locally famous" to Portugal like a couple of marathon runners who won Gold at the Olympics, a former prime minister, etc.

As part of the signing and stuff, I got to meet Dr James Watson (as an interpreter for my father), the guy who got the Nobel for being in the team that discovered the double helix nature of DNA.

Ever seen the episode of Penn & Teller's Bullshit about the Dalai Lama?
Yeah I have, but he still met him, and the Dalai Lama met countless heads of state, artists, etc. So realistically I'm like 3 or 4 jumps away from pretty much anyone famous xD

Here's another one... Another one of my uncles (on my mom's side) met Richard Nixon twice, but both times were before he was elected.

I was in the same elevator as Pierce Brosnan, so I guess that connects me to a bunch of people in Hollywood.

When you we're in the elevator with Pierce, you should have whispered quietly to yourself "I have an eyeball on the target. Requesting permission to engage."

My dad's side family lives around the same area as Tommi M?kinen and his family so they sort of know each other. My dad and his siblings also went to the same school as Tommi and his brother.

Found out today I have 3 degrees of separation to Elle MacPherson. The brother of a girl I work with went skiing with her in High School.

I also have 3 degrees of separation to Queen Elizabeth II. When I was living in England, I went out with a girl who was a pastry chef in the kitchen of the Queen Mother. She made birthday cakes for Princes William and Harry and went to chef school with Gary Rhodes (2 degrees of separation to him).

Here goes:

I met and escorted the new Premier on Ontario (Canada), which works for Prime Minister or Canada Harper, which meets with US President Obama, which has had an audience with Pope Benedict, which has the ear of ... Well... you know who.
