Well, if you look closely, there's all sorts of green on the hood and windshield. I'd guess it hit the tree roof first on it's side, and the whole top of the car slid up (along the tree) to where it rested.

Anyway... This accident is a bit strange, I dont really think he got rear-ended... I guess he lost control and hit a tall kerb

It's obviously not a rear end type of rear end, looks more like someone came flying down the street, possibly swerving through traffic and therefore attempting to swerve around said lolcamry hybrid, whereupon the driver failed to clear the camry and struck near the back left left tire, thus digging under the back of the car on one side only and "flipping" it onto it's side where the camry's inertia carried it fifty feet from the crash scene into a tree where it then rested.

And it was the butler who did it, you can tell because the glass was outside the house with matching footprints in the mud.

But yeah no Top Gear host should own a hybrid of any sort... Its just plain wrong!
