He reviews cars for the NYTimes. In his latest gem, he says turbos are classier than superchargers because superchargers are only put on redneck drag racers. Er, yeah, no. Dan Neil (the LA Times guy mentioned in that article) is much easier to take seriously than this guy.

I've read a fair bit of Dyer, you're not supposed to take him seriously. He can be extremely amusing most of the time.

I actually think he'd do well on Top Gear.

Thanks for the article, sheds some light on the "how TG USA failed yet again" situation, as well as the apparent brain-headedness that is American television broadcasting.
