I mean yes, it is obvious that those cars would make appearances on Top Gear, but we all know that Top Gear wouldn't be anywhere near as successful as it is without the Zonda's, the Lambo's, the Ferrari's, the Konigsegg's and the like.
Are you mentally challenged or something? What makes you think Gear won't have just as many supercars and exotics as TG? What jayhawk obviously meant was that in addition to seeing all the exotics, which I guarantee you will be on the show, there will be cars that are available to Americans instead of citroens, fiats and whatnot!

Totally agreed! I mean, think about how much air time on Top Gear gets devoted to Vauxhalls alone. The vast majority of Americans have no clue that Vauxhall even exists. Add in the aforementioned Citroens, Fiats, MGs and a raft of cars from Ford and GM that either aren't sold in America or have different names here and you have your answer. I think it's a reasonable assumption that Gear will have a similar percentage of "every day" cars represented, only with models that Americans know about.

You're devoting way too much effort into bashing a show that hasn't even been released yet.

Jesus.

Go get a life, mate.

Exactly! Some of these people would do good reading your post here. images/smilies/cheers.gif

hey guys...first post here.
I'm not sure if this is new news or not, but I just heard Adam Carolla on a local radio show and they had a very small mention of the show and he said they will start filming the pilot episode this thursday(march 20th).

it is kind of odd, but then again...has NBC actually announced Carolla to host Gear? He pretty much did that himself didn't he?

Yes, he did it himself, and they got mad at him for doing so.

Corolla sucks. I cant stand the guy and his radio show is horrible. His voice has the same effect as taking a sleeping pill. Gear will not last with him as the host. NBC really knows how to make sure a good show will fail.

Anyone catch Adam on The Tonight Show? I know he was on to promote his new movie but considering Gear will be on NBC and Leno is a petrol head perhaps it came up?
