This is a shoot of, well it says a commercial, but the tone, and setting look very Top Gear-esque. Anyway... the video:
http://www.vimeo.com/825730 Honestly, I can't confirm this on any level, but I thought I'd post it just in case. |

Interesting. It looks like a very Top Gear type show. They even have a little Hammond wannabe.

Hmm, some guys talking in front of a crowd in a hanger.... I wonder what it could be?
![]() EDIT: Can anyone identify the skyline at around 1:25? from there we could find out what direction it is from that city, and if its el toro, we know this is the new top gear

This should be on the front page.
I'm sure someone will recognize the landmarks or maybe even the presenters. |

My suspicion is that that was filmed where Mythbusters shoot in SF. Note the dock cranes, etc. That's obviously just a guess though. I doubt it's Gear related. There's tons of shows out there made, including ones for just the 'net.

The way he moves and all, it seems like they were going exactly for Hammond ...

![]() ![]() But there are two structures that seem to be the pillars of an suspensionbridge ... a big one. Does point to quite a big Gap between the City and another (not so full of skyscarpers) bulk of land. ![]() That bulk of Land seems to be not flat at all ... but no real mountains there ... ![]() They seem to have quite a big Containership there at that terminal, should definetly be a seaharbour. So ... considering Sun-angle doesn´t tell us much because we have no Idea if it was morning or when ... we have an Airfield near City that has a Bay or huge River between it and some small Mountains, a Sea Harbour in that Bay/River ... near SF seems like a good guess, Oakland (where Mythbusters shoot) to be precise. http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&hl=d...58365&t=h&z=14

Yeah, you can even see the same buildings in the video and the aerial shot. I'm good.

I like. Even without sound (shitty work PCs) it looks very Top Gearish
maybe I have to change my opinion on this whole Gear thing |

It looks remarkably like the first episode of TG with the small group in the hangar. I spotted the Bay Bridge right away so I knew it couldn't be Gear. Too bad. It looked promising, whatever it is.

Certainly looks like Alameda. Maybe this footage was from location scouting.

...because only Top Gear would shoot cars ... in a hangar... in California.

I didn't say it was, I just stated a possibility.
