Will NBC's legal dept send out DMCA warning letters for downloading Gear?

Will NBC's legal dept send out DMCA warning letters for downloading Gear?

The reason I'm asking is that NBC currently send out DMCA warning letters
to people who download NBC shows.(Tonight Show, Law & Order, Office, etc)
I had friends whose ISP suspended their cable modem/DSL accounts because
they downloaded just one episode. Unfortunately, this is only limited to people
who are inside the USA.

Will this happen when Gear airs on NBC? Come to think of it, does NBC now
have the legal rights to "Top Gear" in America? If so, will they shut this website
down? images/smilies/sad.gif

Thats a good thing.
Just don't get it via the biggest sites, aka mininova, go for a smaller private one, or wait for http mirrors to show up here, and you'll be fine...
Or just watch it on TV when its on at your place and then TiVo it or some shit...

NBC puts all of it's shows (at least prime time) on their website the day after for streaming, other than for archival reasons there really won't be a huge reason to download it.

If you're worried, stick to Rapidshare or whatever. They can't track you via that.

You also don't have to worry about this site as we are 100% legal. We don't host any trackers or torrent files ourselves. Plus, I don't think it'd be a great idea to go after a site like this. After all, we're helping to spread the word and all that which is only making the show more popular.

Sadly it wouldn't be the first time a company has gone after the fans. The RIAA does it all the time, and CD sales are THROUGH THE ROOF! images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
