Default Stig spotted at TG Australia Test Track at Camden Airport

http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=103489

Quote:
http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k193/goanna_2006/Stig.jpg

Sorry about the picture, from my brother who works at Camden Airport where the show is being shot. They have been closing the airport so they can properly test the cars. They have built a track including the Main runway and some of the taxi ways, He said the GT40 at full noise was Awesome today! The stig would not take his helmet off so this is all we can go off!!!

The celebrity drivers obviously doing "star in Reasonably priced car" will be starting soon.

From what My brother said, the show should be pretty good!!

I think they would have found someone here in Australia for the stig role.

It wont be as sometimes (atleast in regular Top Gear) all 3 presenters will be in the same shot as The Stig.

shot is a bit vague but I do think it's a different Stig than the British one.
For some reason I think this one's a bit fatter

It won't be the UK Stig - there's nothing to be gained (apart from a huge bill) from flying UK Stig out here. We've got enough talent here for the role.

Having said that, I fully expect TGA to play it up with lines like "We've flown Stiggie out...".
