Default Top Gear Australia: Time?

Just a quick question which may seem obvious but i just want to confirm.

Since it is being broadcast on SBS which is showing adverts these days will Top Gear Australia episodes only be 42 minutes long instead of the 60 minutes for the UK version and if so what will the Australian version not have in order to cut down time. Will they drop the news segment or Star in a Reasonably Priced Car?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but nothing is confirmed for TG Australia apart from the host and an approximate period we can expect its debut.

So there won't necessarily be a News segment or Star interview.

Or there may be and they'll just do one less car review. We don't know.

Since the show is being designed for whatever amount of time they have, nothing will be "cut". It'll air as intended rather than chopped down.

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

As they said that TGA will not be simply an imitation of BBC TG, what it will and won't have remains to be seen. We'll just have to wait until later this year to see it and find out then.
