I think the Carrera would be faster, but there are a lot of cars on the power lap time board that can go quicker, and I think the best example is the Pagani Zonda, because it would be a lot faster, a german magazine tested it on the Nürburgring and it was over 10 seconds faster than the Murcielago and just a few seconds slower than the Carrera GT.

If you are talking about the really ambient spacious music playing during his reivew, it is Air - Another Day off of their new album Talkie Walkie. Air is a great band and their new album is very good, check it out.

This episode of Top Gear had some especially good music in it, including My Bloody Valentine - I Only Said during the shot of all three cars spinning around in the sand. They are an absolutely incredible band (the song is off of their album Loveless which is one of the most important albums ever recorded) and I have never heard their music on TV. Their music was used in the movie Lost in Translation, but hearing them on broadcast TV is amazing.

you see that is another trick they did...the zonda made this lap time let say when it was wet when at the same time murcielago made a lap time of 6secsmore...if i remember coorect the zonda made 1.23.8 and the murcielago made 1.29 and something..at that episode they wanted to make the track wet but because they didn't have such big tanks with water they spread water is specific parts of the track...then the murcielago was retested at lamborghinis 50 years when the track was dry and made a faster lap time than the zonda but then the zonda they nevere retested it at the same conditions as the murcielago..maybe they didn't want to spoil lambo's 50 years celebration...

sorry....just wanted to say that the murcielago was tested two times..
at the first time they tested murcielago and zonda at the same conditions(partialywet track)...at these conditions the zonda was 6 seconds faster..
then in another episode they retested the murcielago(dry track)but they never retested the zonda.

I have nothing against Mazdas, the RX8 isn't actually as bad looking as Clarkson says, when you see i for real, and I like the 6 series, but in my opinion this one doesn't live up to its bigger brothers, no offence.

I find the guests in this episode very boring and very very annoying, especially the guy. I suggest everyone fastforward that section, don't even watch their lap, not worth your time
