Rep Power: 0 ![]() | To readdress the balance in this thread, I'll have you know that Spyker would be my first choice for the money. Who cares if it's just a few seconds off the pace of a Gallardo? I don't know of any other contemporary car designed with such an eye for detail. Just look at the rims, continuing the propeller theme from the badge and the steering wheel... It's brilliant. 8) |

Car: 2000 Civic SiR Rep Power: 24 ![]() ![]() | Well.....with the top on, the Spyker looked ugly. With it off, though, I really like the exterior styling....with exception to that front air dam that Jeremy pointed out. The interior, however, is a write off. That car would have been worlds better with some leather and aluminum interior, with stitched "Spyker" emblems on the seat and a nice dash. I think that Spyker destroyed it with the interior. If they could give it the handling of the Elise and a better interior, I'd love it. |

| Hey Everyone.... Im new, been downloading off here for a bit now, and readint the posts and figured i might as well join. Hello All. The general consensus seems to be dislike for the interior of the Spyker, which until i read "whats on top gear tomorrow" didnt know existed. On the contrary i thinkits pretty elegant.....like Jeremy was saying. And creative as well, exposing the transmission link for example makes it unique. I dunno juss looked nice to me. But the exterior is wonderful, and i wanna know how you can see the flames in the exhaust, what type of glass would it be made of? Cuz i assume all the blue and red stuff are flames from combustion??

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | the spyker is ugly and overpriced IMO. the proportions arent quite right. i like the interior though, theres such attention to detail and little touches here and there that make it look special. for the price though, theres no way i would ever consider buying one., |

| i think the red and blue marks would be from the heat effecting the metal of the exhaust, some metals do this under extreme heat

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | SiR_dude, don't agree. I think it's one of the nicest interiors around. Mainly because there's not a single thing they didn't give their full attention. Compare it to, say, a Murcielago interior, which still looks a bit "normal": it's something you could also see in a car half the price. But not with Spyker. The ignition switch for instance... it seems to come right out of a plane. This was shown much better though when Tiff drove it, in his last days at the BBC. Choosing not to go for airbags surely helped too. How many cars nowadays have such a nice steering wheel? However, it does have a bit of a retro feel to it (mainly a 70s feel). If that's not your thing, the Spyker won't be either. ![]() |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The Spyker is without a doubt, one of the stupidest supercars I have ever seen in my life (sorry supporters). The interior really is crap. It looks like a couple of 14 yr. old pimp wannabes on crack went through and tried to imitate a 1960s pink Cadillac. It's disgustingly vulgar. The exterior looks like an Aston from the front, then the rest of it is goofy chrome everywhere. This is supercar rice! This car isn't any different from a lowered Ford F-150 pickup truck with 24" chrome wheels and a hydraulic suspension. I cannot BELIEVE Jeremy would endorse a car that drives like crap (the first one at least), looks like it came out of a porno mag (which it kinda did), and has an interior akin to a cheap red-light district charge-by-the-hour motel. Jeremy chastizes the Audi TT because to drive it you have to look a certain way...to drive this thing you have to have about 35 pounds of gold chains around your neck, a minimum of 5 gold teeth, and an assortment of drug dealer clothes. The one cool thing about this car is the exposed gear linkage. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Rice absolutely disgusts me, so do pimped out Cadillacs, pick up trucks... etc. But I love the Spyker. I guess it's not entirely the same then. Sure there's a lot of chrome, but I would say the Spyker is a LOT more refined than the regular pimpmobile. Oh well... Can't remember what the minicab song was. I'll have a listen once I have this downloaded. |
