| Hmm... not sure about that one either, like it lots though. Also, adore the song straight after it - Pink Floyd's "The Great Gig In The Sky". Man that's good music. | |

There is no replacement for displacement. - Wolfgang Bernhard, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Group talking about the Dodge Viper SRT-10 ... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it. - Motor Trend on the 2006 Dodge Viper Coupe, November 2005 |

| VIP | ^ Welcome to the forum. ![]() We have a new 'What's that Song' section where song identifications and requests are now discussed. There is a thread for the October 31st episode here: http://gear.viper007bond.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=28. I gave the song a listen and flipped through the episode and couldn't find it anywere. I know I've heard it in other Top Gear episodes though, so it's a useful identification nonetheless. I'll flip through it a few more times, but I can't seem to find it. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I know this post is about 4 months after the last post so I doubt anybody will read it but I just have to say that JC is horrifically wrong about the electronic "nannies". There are buttons on every single one of those cars that can turn the traction control off and make the car respond to your every whim (including the one that sends it into the trees). He even pointed the button in the Ferrari out but was too scared to press it. I think the Enzo blows the doors off the F40. If I had one I wouldn't want to give any drivers hope they could stick with me off the line. That's the whole point of having a car like that, to know that it's better than the person's sitting next to you. Anyways, just my two cents. Great site, it's wonderful. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I'm watching top gear by downloading them in Korea. But in Korea, Top Gear is so unpopular that there is no Korean subtitle. I'm struggling to hear what they say, but I cannot hear some parts no matter how I try. Please help me who can hear following lines clearly. When Richard talks about interior of Focus in Focus Film, Code: It may be quite incredibly drape and dralian here and trust me it is. but there isn't air of quality to it. Code: ..I'll slide couple of references in it. And I don't think that any of the big rigs'll notice Code: This is what the fast is all about. And it's easy to see why. For sheer excitement and possess it hard to think of anything which can match it. Thank you. Last edited by by; November 16th, 2006 at 02:30 PM.. |

Car: '00 Honda Civic hatchback Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I'm at work, and obviously don't have that episode with me....but I think I remember... "..I'll slide couple of references in it. And I don't think that any of the big rigs'll notice." Before this line, he said he was unable to promote anything on Top Gear. But these lines above says he was going to slide a couple references for his book anyways, because he didn't think anyone at BBC would notice anyways. "This is what the fast is all about. And it's easy to see why. For sheer excitement and possess it hard to think of anything which can match it." He actually says "fuss", not fast. And then he basically says that if you want excitement, he can't think of anything that is as good as the Enzo. |

And thanks about fuss too. I heard the line again, and it was not fast but fuss. I've not known the word "fuss". But I still don't know what the "possess", which I'm guessing, actually is. Now I understand what Jeremy clarkson talking about, but I want to know every word because watching Top Gear is also part of my learning English. I don't know what Richard said about Interior of Focus, yet. Last edited by by; November 16th, 2006 at 06:38 PM.. | |
