Interesting episode. Not as good as the earlier ones of the season though. TG's episodes tend to fade as a series comes to the end. They put all the good stuff in the first 3 episodes.

I really liked the 575 GTC vs Vanquish S review. I remember a similar review from a few years ago (a pretty good one as well). Both cars in their previous trims and they got Damon Hill to run against JC. They both liked the Ferrari better that time. In this episode it looks like the Aston's gearbox is really really bad...even worse than last time. Another thing in this review worth mentioning is the slow motion shots. They were absolutely phenomenal. TG once again raised the bar for television motoring programs.

Man that episode was fantastic, I don't think that there was a single bit that I didn't enjoy. Starting things off with a Zonda, how can u go wrong!

The Zonda in the tunnel was just sex on wheels.

Also, Jimmy Carr is one of my favourite comedians at the moment, I love black humour, it was awesome. And who on earth would have predicted that time!!!

What did you guys think of the Ferrari vs. Aston thing? I think I agree with Clarkson on this one, and you should just save yourself the extra money.

1. Music Whore aka Zenon, I've got a request, music, from 33:03 - 33:14. Basically when James is giving the closing speech on Princess Di's Range Rover. It almost techno, or something ambient, like chicane....??

2. Pretty awesome epsiode, its up there with the best of them.

3. As mag said, the slow motion shots i thought were fucking brilliant, like when they drag raced the S and GTC, and the GTC was getting of the line, you could see the wheel spin, and slowly the smoke, starting to rise, that was my porn, and the S going by in slow motion, going throught the puddle of water, and its sprinkling towards the camera, that was awesome as well.

4. That Zonda in the tunnel was pretty amazing, you could tell Hammond was loving it....."Ill be a changed man when i come out"

5. I once listed that the first time JC took out the Carrera GT down the straight talking about being a mass of goose pimples was one of the first times, i saw Genuwine emotion from him. The second was today, when he spoke about the Vanquish's Gear box, Ha, he was so fraustrated, pissed off even, and you, or i at least could tell, that car could be a whole lot better but like he said, the gear box, is bad.

6. This hit me - im not a big corvette fan, in fact i dont like corvettes, would get one of the sting rays cuz i think they look sexy but none of the new ones, - partly cuz you see so many in Florida, and they all have autos, and i think to my self "why da f*ck, would you have 400 Bhp and an auto" . Anyways thats besides the point - im objective enough to give credit when its due , regardless of my preferences, and considering that The S and GTC with over 500 Bhp, stiffer suspension, roll bars, ceramic brakes, etc would be only .3 or so quicker for the GTC than the Corvetter, with leaf spring suspsension and shit, is pretty good. Its a fucking barging. And i expected the GTC to do better, but my point, Looking at specs, times, and tech put into the Cars GTC and S vs Corvette, - the Corvette is a pretty fast car.
