I guess it is a sign that I am getting older... I thought conkers was a well known game.

If you want a song identified, jump over to our brand new section, found here: http://gear.viper007bond.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=28. Find the thread for the episode you want (November 14th) and take a look at the songs identified. Post the times of any other ones you are looking for. images/smilies/smile.gif

The second song you wanted is already listed, but I'll add the first one to the list of songs that need identification. images/smilies/smile.gif

It is hyperlinked. I guess after the forum crash the links don't automatically underline anymore, but it is linked.

Oh yea, I didn't even bother hovering over it. There's a lot of stuff changed on this site since the crash.

Like the others here, I first heard about it from the TG episode. When I saw the caravans hanging there, at first I thought conkers was the british version of tetherball or something. images/smilies/wacko.gif

Conkers is a very British thing, but I remember it being in school way back when in many places around the world. Although I admit I have never seen it in N.A.

Been there done that (heh, I'm in France after all) and no, it's not that heavenly. Sure, lots of curves, short straights, great. But then there is no escape if you miss a curve or braking, and you don't see much of the "track".

It didn't prevent me from having GREAT fun in the Alps with the VX, but at some times it is just too dangerous to floor the right pedal. Tracks are definitely better.

We've got a 'What's that Song' section in the forum now, so keep any song discussions to there. You can find the thread for this episode here.

I'll add the song you are looking for to the list. images/smilies/smile.gif

Just checked the License plates of the Royal Range Rover...
Found this:
http://www.motorbase.com/auctionlot/by-id/1906103906/
I guess License plates work different in Britain (I'm Dutch myself).
How can it be explained that it's a range rover aswell... but a different one?
