Car: 21 laps of the 'ring Rep Power: 16 ![]() | Good episode, Too bad Clarkson doesn't know squat about tanks "The Challenger 2 is the fastest tank in the world over rough terrain" Not even close, that title is a tie between the M1A2, and the French Leclerc. The Challenger is one of the slowest main battle tanks in the world, that doesn't mean it's a bad tank though, quite the opposite, it's powered by a diesel engine so it is much safer than a gas turbine powered tank, and it uses much less fuel. His second error comes with his comments about the rifled barrel on the main gun, that type of gun is obsolete and the British army is in the process of replacing them with the exact smooth bore gun he mocked in the show. |

)40Mph sounds a lot more impressive than 40kph (real cross country figure) and the reason he's going on about rifling is because he did thoose inventions program last yeah and one was about the gun and it evoloution. I didn't know that we were moving to the smooth bore though, is that the 125mm one?

Yeah my RSS feed on azureus grabbed it off of torrentspy actually before I got vuks... and the quality is superior... however im not sure if DOUBLING the space TG take up on my pc is worth it.. its at 18 gigs already with all the specials and such... a final decision is to be made later. >>>>>>>>> OK.. Dodge has introduced a new Charger, totally negating richards whole speech about dying young and Marlon Brando.. and all that.. So are they gonna review it? I didn't see it in the preview but I assume only about 15% of the cars were shown<<<<<<<<<<< -----------------------------CLICK A THUMBNAIL FOR LARGER IMAGE ------------------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() and please, no more of the "tank X is better than tank Y" rubbish. would you say an rx8 is better than a 350z without driving them both? who here has driven an m1a1 and a challenger 2? only a fool would claim that one is better than the other based on country of origin and stats they found through google. let's move on...

They are excellent tanks operated by excellent crews, I bet if you staged a mock battle between M1A2's, Leopard 2's, Leclerc's, Challenger 2's and even T90's the outcome would be determined by the skill of each crew and luck, the fact that all these amazing weapons are more or less on the same side is a big relief

)I used to be a complete tank geek when I was a kid and could quote ever spec of ever model (dam you top trumps!!!) not so bad now. I was so jealous when my mate won a competition to visit Vickers, this was when they were putting the C2 in production, he saw chobum amour being made and had rides in all the kit. He said they weren't allowed to see the electro magnetic guns though.... such a git. But I totally agree with the "my tank could kick your tanks arse" argument is such a stupid idea on so many levels.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I finally got to watch it tonight and boy I loved the football match (not to mention the Aygo). And the review on CLS was pretty good too. Overall, another thumping good TG episode. Nicely set up for the rest of the season ![]() |

| Those guys must have a budget bigger than Microsoft. Come on, let's just wreck a bunch of new Aygo's.. It was pretty cool. ![]()
