the problem is that this caddy cost more then any other car of that type in Europe, so it MUST be as good.

cheap interiors are not acceptable m8

Yes that put a huge smile on my face images/smilies/biggrin.gif This will be Top Gears 3rd review of the car...i hope they don't have something mean planned for it images/smilies/ohmy.gif I say this because it will be too good if the car can get wraps from To Gear 3-times in a row....the sheer brute force will make em' grin though images/smilies/rolleyes.gif images/smilies/wink.gif

I loved this episode...the best one in a long time images/smilies/smile.gif The beginning part with the Limo/JC's Ford GT was funny images/smilies/lol.gif Very funny in fact.
The review of the Bimmer was quite good aswell...granny review was k images/smilies/mellow.gif

Looking at the episode right now. "Which one would you steal" is, ehm, actually, very, very lame.
But, good episode for the rest. Limo Jump was cool and not too long, although the part with their mothers was.

I love James, but I didnt like him calling the US/Australia "colonies". Then when they drive the CST around the track they throw it up on the board and dont even mention it went round in monsoon-like conditions....typical images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Im sorry, I own an S4 and have driven the CTS. The interior is AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN THE AUDI. Only reason we got the Audi was for AWD.

Well, it's in the interior of the car that you spend more time... Or at least I do... I know I don't want it to be Fisher-Price...

I think this was a quite good episode (except for the limo jump which was a bad start to the show). I liked that the guest spot times seem to be shorter this season, there were solid car reviews, and I thought that the mother part was hilarious and surprisingly insightful.

I didn't get the part when Clarkson was explaining why or how it was possible for the CTS-V to outperform the S4....

"old American cars drive you around the bend, this one drives you around the bend"

The wording was the same... he did stress on one of the words the second time. But I still don't get it. Was he just being himslef by not trying to make sense?

This episode didn't have that many great cars, but I seem to have enjoyed it more than last week's episode... I think they opened a door when they started all these bizarre stunts that they shouldn't have.... They try very hard to think of something new to do, and they're running out of ideas.... With the limo, Maserati, the other car + caravan that they burned, I just hope they don't end up running out of money before the end of the season! I was watching one of their season finales (sp?) where they were desprite to waste time... Only good thing about that show was May playing the Top Gear tune... that was funny images/smilies/smile.gif

But back to my point.. What did clarkson mean?

As usual I don't think he was just being lame. The accent on bend and the accent on driving.

To "drive someone around the bend" is an expression that means to drive someone crazy. So instead of driving you crazy, the caddy actually just gets you around the corner.

I'm not going to explain what boning the dog means over here though. I don't think Clarkson meant it in that way. images/smilies/lol.gif

I think Clarkson got overwhelmed of how fast the CTS-V actually goes,So he started criticizing stupid stuff. His reviews are getting worse and worse.

I wouldn't say worse, but there is some similarity between all his reviews and his biased thoughts about cars is so obvious, you can tell from the beginning if he likes it or not. Whether it is a good car or not, but this is not the program you should be looking for if you want good advice, it's pure humor. IMO.

I don't think so. I just think that his style his becoming more known, and the novelty effect faded.

yup indeed. He is a biased, too rich, political incorrect son of a bitch, but that's what makes him funny, at least when his jokes and way of behaving and criticizing are new to you.
I'm glad he isn't trying too hard to "improve" as you often see with celebrities, and just end up being pathetic.

But still I felt sorry for that poor dark-skinned fellow. He came there to enjoy the show and Clarkson made some stupid joke about his race. So then he had to try to correct himself by saying something like that everybody under twenty-five was a car-thief in his eyes or so...
