Great ep. How awesome are those buggies from iceland!!!!?? I'm just lost for words.

I liked seeing Mark Webber on the show (me being australian and all). These guys are pros, their times are so much better than the other board. I awnt that t-shirt too. Imagine webber actually wearing it in the paddock. it'll be the next fashion rage.

Loved that episode, Flying Spur, what an ugly bugger but shit, that was seriously quick for a sedan!

Liked the 5 series review too.

Mark Webber was great and as Leppy said, true Aussie style, bloody good time too, if only it had been dry, would have been faster than Hill!

The toys bit was the best, absolutely hilarious.

Best episode of the season by far images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Loved this one!! Damn I need to get my driving license, I wanna have a go on those buggies images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Heh, on the quads (I think), covered in mud: Jeremy: "I can't really see James looking like this." Richard: "I can't see anything."

It could well have been just me, but it seemed like in the studio segments the boys were a lot more relaxed than last week, especially during the news. Now I know that last week there were Obsessive Hammond Fanclub members (sorry to bring those up again) present and this week there were not, and last week they had quite some sexual stuff on the news (Richard talking about donating sperm? WTF?? Excuse the pun images/smilies/wacko.gif ) whereas this week there was no such thing (except Jeremy's interview with Davina, but that felt wholly different). Coincidence??

Also: J. Clarkson 1935-2005?? images/smilies/lol.gif

And no "Some say.." this week. Seems they take their fans seriously images/smilies/smile.gif though I personally don't care to much about the Stigintros.

^^

I agree with Micra, the guys did actually seem very relaxed, some of the other episodes it has seemed theyve been worried about following a script too closely and keeping it nice and neat.

This week they were relaxed and genuinely enjoyable to watch, of course, other weeks theyre great to watch but this week it was better.

This episode made me laugh the most out of the series.
The "1935-2005" was really nice too. images/smilies/lol.gif
(I have a weird sense of humour . . .)
I can't believe the time Webber pulled off in the wet. F1 drivers are AMAZING! I wish the track was dry for him. He could have easily beat Stig's time.

If anybody can provide me with the image of the Stig that was on the back of the shirt, I can get a local custom shirt store to make them. I was thinking of doing it on my own but since everybody seems to want one I'm willing to organise something. I'm going to google the Stig and look for good images. If anybody finds something, please share!

The T shirts have slightly more intricate an image than just a silhouette of The Stig, they've also got the Top Gear logo in red just above Stiggy. I don't know why they've stopped selling them. images/smilies/sad.gif

Nice ep. They really seemed more relaxed..

That 535d v. 545 was a good review.. I'm a petrol engine- guy, I don't like diesels at all, they're stupid. images/smilies/tongue.gif But that 535d was great. And with 272hp, it's not bad at all when comparing to Focus RS, with 212 hp or with Mazda RX-8. images/smilies/lmao.gif on that kitten- thing.

The Flying Spur looked kind of ok, but it just seems to lack the luxury that Bentleys used to have, there's no more that sertain magic they had. In Continental GT and this new Flying Spur anyway.. Like they said it's just a jumped-up Volkswagen Phaeton, so why not save that £45000 and buy a Phaeton.

Is Michael Schumacher really the Stig?!? images/smilies/eek.gif images/smilies/lol.gif images/smilies/lol.gif

Top episode there - Probably the best this season so far. That's the most relaxed I've seen Mark Webber. In all the interviews I've seen on tv here he looks a bit 'uptight' but he was relaxed and sounded more australian that he usually does.

Loved the quad bike segment. Makes me wish I had a paddock to go and tear up and the $ to go and buy one to tear it up with.

One thing that was different this ep was that Jeremy didnt introduce the stig with the same thing he's done in every ep this season so far - and the bumshell to end the episode ROFL! I hope the season finale lives up to the hype.

I actually checked back to see if they still sold them. This is why I want to make some replicas of it. I should have bought one when I had the chance!

Am I alone in pondering what it would take to make one of those RAGE buggies street legal? images/smilies/twisted.gif
