I'm sure it's more like scripted improvisational material...if that makes any sense. Kinda like they're given a theme or set few words to work with and they have to fill in the rest.

it was a pretty good show, last weeks was better, i liked the history of green segment, the caymen segment, the futeballer driver (holy insane) and the RS4 segment....the rc cars was alright, the only part i really laughed at was when Hammond totally destroyed that little tent thing with the car...i busted out laughing on that one ....

I agree with Jeremy about the Cayman. It's too long at the rear and it seems like they made it just to fill a performance slot rather than a pricing slot. I mean comon, limited slip diff and some stuff and you have a 911 beater. It is mid-engined after all.

Possibly whoster meant Overheat... Or maybe not. But someone mentioned in the irc that Overheat hadn't contacted Viper about a 350MB rip

I thought it was a damn good episode. I just wish these non-finalgear release folks had their acts together on seeding. Took bloody forever to get ahold of it...

Brilliant episode, miles better than the last one - and as an always fanatic quattro lover I LOVED the RS4 review, now why didn't we get to see it go round the track?

Oh well. M3 killer or not, Wonderful car that. Wonder who that 13 year old girl was, I mean, profiled much? Acne, braces, that angsty look - very strange - I think secretly the stig was driving the BMW via remote images/smilies/wink.gif

Anywho, great episode, look forward to a vuk rip next time and better seeds! images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I loved this episode, the racing green bit was great.. and what an awesome car that is!! A nice fat V12 is just a tinny little cigar.. sweet! images/smilies/smile.gif
All the other bits were real good fun as well, that RS4 is quite something!
This season is really good so far images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Indeed a great episode

The RS4 sound is almost on par with the V8 Vantage!!!

They use a lot Craig Armstrong material for music: I guess soon he will be a guest in TG to thank them for all the royalties (well deserved IMHO) received.

I do not like particularyl footballers but Ian Wright seemed to be a straight and honest guy and boy o boy this was the most incredible celebrity lap.

I wonder if after naming a corner to Gambon, they will name that particular one the "Wright"... fully deserved

What was the route that they showed the map of?

All I can remember is it was from Nottingham to somewhere.

Pretty good episode. I didn't really like the pointless rc car segment, but the rest are great. The BRG segment is pretty good. I think they should give a national color scheme for each country in the A1GP, maybe not just 1 color, but a combination of color for each country. I agree with the Cayman review, they couldn've made the car faster and better, but they can't cuz it'll eat into the 911 territory. If they would've put the 3.6L engine in it and LSD, it would definitely be faster than the 911. The RS4 is badass, but I don't think it'll be better than the next gen M3. Like Clarkson said, the engine is too forward, they only use AWD to mask the problem, I think on the back to back comparo, the M3 will win. BTW does anyone know how much faster around the track is the new RS4 than the M3? Thanks.

Trully great episode. loved clarkson's script in cayman's review and what an inpressive stuff by ian wright images/smilies/w00t.gif RGB and RC segment were a bit boring but still I can imagine how much fun james and rich had with those toys images/smilies/smile.gif A huge surprise for me was the RS4 part i was expecting it to be a bit dull pretty much the same as those races when clarkson always kept saying I'VE GOT TO BEAT THOSE BOYS but MY GOD ! RS4 was brilliant despite that i still prefer M3... And those two climber dudes they were amazing especially that skydiving stuff images/smilies/eek.gif

It was Nottingham to Bideford (Devon), avoiding motorways

So it directed you to Holyhead (Wales), ferry to Dublin (Ireland), drive to Cork, ferry to Roscoff (France), ferry to Plymouth (Devon), then drive to Bideford.

Total of 1071 miles!

I always feel like a fanboy when I post here, but brilliant episode!

The soccer player lap was great! He was going mental, that was so awesome! If he had tidied up his lines he could have sat right at the top!

That Audi is probably the only AWD car I would want to buy, much much better than a silly evo.

The Cayman doesn't seem like a great car from the factory(missing an LSD?!?!? IN A PORSCHE?!?!?!), but that is the stuff aftermarket tuners live for. Add a few bits and pieces here and there and you have a 911 stomper that can't be bought at a dealer. I would still buy an Aston instead tho.

I want a Vanwall!
