It was a bit of a hotch potch, and we didn't get to see the Hammond being frozen in a car film, which is a shame. Oooh, that made me sound a proper biatch didn't it!

David Walliams was the most boring guest they've ever had on the show. He was really disappointing, maybe that's why they invited Jimmy Carr on stage. Even so, the funniest of the 3 men on the stage was JC.

I really did enjoy the Laguna Seca film, but couldn't help feeling that it was a poor sequel to the Nurburgring film from Series 5.

And of course, there was nowhere near enough James for my taste.

Did anyone catch that one old fart from the Austin Healey club gyrate his ass to the youth group's music?

Is this the Season finale?

Where is the Hammand frozen in a C1 ?

Remember those previews at the start of the seasons. In this years and last years there has been this seen were Hammond is in a car being shot through the window?

Why have they left these out?

Yep.

I was also disappointed to see that the clip of the Skyline in the 'taster' of episode 1 was no more than the clip they used in the hillclimb race.

Big let down......

This might make me sound a bit gullible, but I wonder if they invited Jimmy Carr on purpose or whether he just came down to watch the filming (or accompany that gay Walliams guy)?

There's already a torrent-link at the top of this thread.
I also haven't got it yet. But why is this the season finale? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't recent Top Gear series have 10 or 11 episodes?

The audio of that 700MB rip is off (again) towards the end

They announced that this would be a 6 episode series btw...

It was an ok episode for me, I liked those twats getting beaten by the old farts. Really, how cool was that. I liked the bit where they fiddled with the engine bits and had their tea break lol... Long live heritage cars, good to see this one in action pummeling that new mess of fiberglass and subwoofers.

The star of this week was a boring git really, I have tried watching little brittain, but I just don't get what's so funny about it really. I'd much rather have they repeat the Fast Show or something.. much more fun.

I hope the boys take their nice timeout and come back in the spring with a nice fresh new series. They should come up with some new stuff though, maybe an alternative to the star bit? The lap board is so full now it's rather meaningless if you have some boring guest that doesn't end up really high or low.

Okay episode, soooo glad that ugly car got beaten. Somehow I felt the awards were messy and not coordinated very well, just made them feel stupid It started great with the suprises of James running and Jeremy beeing hit with the pie.
And the real Jeremy vs. GT4 Jeremy was not as exciting as it could have been.

How did the AMV8 win best soundtrack? yes, it sounds good, but wth, it isn't even close to the full on brutality and soundscope of the Zonda F. It wasn't even recognized instead of the CLS, I mean COME ON! That was stupid....

Other than that, ok-ish ep. VW vs BMW was nice, a review like the good old days, thorough, clean and to the point.

The old vs. mod was stupid, you simply can't compare a mod to a standard car, because all mod cars are different. And why didn't they use than Skyline? Just wanted to tease us with it and then bring out that rubbish thing of a car.

Awards were too much presenter bashing, last year was much better. I hope that eating things doesn't become a running gag, it was funny the first time, but that's it.

I didn't like the intro for GT4 vs. RL, would have enjoyed JC harking back to his article about his back and then go with the story, rather than bringing up this whole track-learning thing. And of course he was going to be slower, although i was surprised by how much. Didn't even have a good GT4 time to start with...

Let's hope next season is going to be better. Same group dynamic, less running jokes, more on track testing to show the cars limits and less "review-dropout".
