yay .. finally
ok .. love the radio bit.. and it seems that every episode this seson will end with them running away ![]() the Corvette bit was a bit... lets just sat i dont think the ecomentalist will like that one ![]() the Iceland bit was lame to be honest.. The Star was a repeat.. Good to se the Stig set a record i the old car and .. where was May in this episode? he was at the radio station, and in the studio.. but no segment? this was a true Jeremy episode.. all but the iceland segments was narrated by him.. i whould love to se James test drive the Caddy.. any one noticed that Jeremy for the first time ever talkt about lexus in a good way.. TWICE! the first time was that Jaguar was only second to Lexus in quality and the second was that he could not se why anyone whould pick the caddy over a Lexus, BMW, Merc or Audi.. i think the new IS made him like Lexus .. |

Since the Corvette Z06 is being tested/has been tested in this episode, I'd like to start off by saying:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There, it's been mentioned. Now, please, nobody say it again! Corvettes have leaf springs! David Hasselhoff! ![]() I'm not spamming this thread, I'm trying to avoid a flame war. Just want to make myself clear.

Did you see the face of the Southern Counties Radio Producer during the mayhem? The sports reporter was not impressed either. Having to explain a cricket score to James. ....
Why would anyone buy the Caddy? At least it was right hand drive. The Jag looked the part, maybe Ford will have to sell Jaguar if they do not make any money, or move the plant to Easter Europe, or possibly China? A bit of a worry for us Brits - TVR anyone? I can't quite beleive that they would make the nose go light at 135 MPH just because of the 'golf clubs'. An all around fun episode. I think that they are actually feeling their way into the new format and studio a bit at the moment, thankfully the dog played its part OK. The boat was fun, with some awesome filming. I wonder if anyone noticed? EDIT/ my typing has gone to pieces, sorry.

Didn't Hammond look and sound worried before they went on Radio
.He is experianced in that profession, loved it when May and Jezza were joking about the Caddy BLS and not the sligtest bit bothered about the job at hand. Corvette segment was O.K, not a fan of that car at all (especially the yellow one's that are beating Aston Martin in ALMS) and all that burning of fuel, not only the fuel being burned in an incredably thursty car but being set alight .And the Iceland seg, another race that the car has lost to something ![]() First against the Marathon Runner, the Mountain Bike, and the mountain climbers, and now a Canoe thingy. The Jag looked and sounded amazing, I would have had the Aston still, what about you? |

Is it just me or were there an unusually high number of really attractive women in the audience? My God there are some beautiful British women out there!

This was much better than last weeks, particularly the studio segments that were pretty poor last week.
The vette review shouldn't cause 'that' discussion, because it was a very very positive review. It certainly looks a looot better than that ferrari. The only thing i wasn't sure about that the jag/bmw/merc contest was really just a review of the jag, with a quick comparison to the other two. They werent really driven or reviewed at all. It was an almost purely jag section.

Corvette review was aweome. I liked how they used the burning fuel (fire) in that segment.
The radio hosting segement was hilarious all those people mad at them. The jaguar review was forgetful, cool scenery other than that blah. And the offroad 4x4 vs the canoe, I was confused did richard have to drive to the middle of the bridge to win that one? |

It seemed more of an actual "car" show this week than last. Wasn't as silly, although the radio segment dragged on a bit.
A lot of it looks too contrived for my liking. Especially last weeks show. The car and canoe segment looked good. As baseballz said, wasn't too clear on what the aim was. Jag item looked good. Thought the car sounded really bad, but maybe that's just me. Overall, not really a "wow" episode. Not as slick or stylish as ones I've seen in the past. PS - My first post! Hi everyone!

Z06 review was great. i am glad they did not beat the dead horse for the interior. i was impressed they compared it to the Ferrari.
canoe race was great though it sounded like an excuse to get hammond behind the wheel of another Bowler Wildcat-- Tomcat? really, try harder......... the cinematagrophy with the jag was breathtaking. i do have a hard time with 300hp in a V8 priced as such though. i liked seeing regular folks getting pissed at the radio show.

So they liked the ZO6? That's actually quite surprising. I know the performance of that car is outstanding, I just wasn't sure they'd be able to get past it's obvious interior weakness, and the body still is made of pliable substances.

Did anyone notice in the Star in a Reasonably priced car segment the Boeing 747 in the background had a website on it?
It was http://www.dunsfoldpark.com
