Anyway, the ZO6 cannot beat a Carrera GT and I was just suggesting that if the Blue Devil comes into production that it will be able to contend with cars just like the Carrera GT. I really liked the review and some of the drawbacks Jezza listed at the end weren't really a problem at all. The bit of them being on the radio and pissing off the sports host was awesome!

It would've been better if they actually reviewed 1 or 2 cars during that time...

| not a great ep. maybe that's just me, but they waste a lot of time on things, like the radio segment, that doesn't have a whole lot to do with what made the show great. All their reviews lately are nowhere close to ones made 2 years ago, such as the CGT or Merc. And them whining about how expensive it is is not an excuse, it's pretty, but it just lacks substance. This episode for example: I didn't care for either the kayak, nor the radio segment. The star kept fiddleing with his face, which was annoying as hell. The Z06 review was, well, i don't know, let's just say it wasn't great. And the Jaguar/BMW/Mercedes comparo was just a Jaguar review/commercial, but it was certainly a pretty segment. All in all, TG just doesn't stack up to what it used to be.

| I was suprised with the show going straight to Z06, I would have figured that would be the last thing to show, being the opinions of Corvettes ect...But thought that was a great segment. Kayak wasn't my fancy much...the radio segment was so so, but didn't see alot of humor in it. Seems like they really cracked under pressure..talk about cars on the radio broadcast!! All in all it was Ok..

Car: Vauxhall Corsa SXi 1.2 Oh fuck yeah! Rep Power: 15 ![]() ![]() | best shot of the series: "the germans manage to get around this, speaking of which, here they come now...." (or something similar) then over the hill, come the SL and the 6 series, in perfect formation, the up down movement, is just like TIE fighters or something - I fell in love with this episode at preciesely that point. Rest - yeah it was great.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | What a rubbish episode Corvette review was ok, but lacked the normal cinematography and editing that makes TG so special. That kayak story was as boring as the Daewoo ownership experience. Ramsey is a cock. The Jag review tried hard to be epic, but just...... wasn't. Radio segment was pointless (although the cricket argument was a laugh) But the Stigs intervew was great, and that second last corner was an awesome piece of driving. Lets hope for more next week...... |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I loved the show. The scenery for Corvette and all the fire was awsome! And the sound (if you put it on a strong surround sound and deep bass) was unbeliveble! Also I really liked the aireal shots of Jaguar and the bits with high-speed camera shooting the wheels when they turn!! Loved it!! Quote:

| This weeks episode was much better than last weeks IMO. The Z06 bit was fantastic. Great review, great car. Granted, I would still rather have a lot of the cars it beat out, but I can't (nor will I try) to deny it's awesomeness. Also, a couple really cool film tricks such as the swapped reflections. The boat v Tomcat bit was ... weird. I don't see how that had much to do with anything since they only briefly mentioned the car. As for the XK part, great looking part of the episode, but I'm not sure how much I like the XK... I'd rather have a Aston Martin. And that "fantastic" noise it produces, was anything but fantastic to me. It sounded like someone started a meat grinder. The radio bit -- not related to cars, but I found it funny and interesting. | |

Amazing what 4 years, rather than 5 laps, of practice will do for your time. :-p I've always loved the XKs, the Corvette has always seemed like shit except for this model...yummy. http://www.musclecars-and-classics.c...Corvette_2.jpg I'd rather buy an Atom and save up until I could afford a Ford GT. The Fire thing could have been shot a bit better...but the Jaguar camera/edit room work was awesome! Oh and on the "aloomenum" thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium#Spelling ~nj?
