Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Lack on downforce was not only problem, prototype's engine was misfiring because of overheated ECU, which I guess caused those huge flames, and fuel ruins catalyzer as far I know. |

| Not A Dude | What the hell is the point in James May turning up to work, he has nothing to do ( sorry I keep moaning about this). But good episode anyway 8) |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Really nice one! Great that I could see a small polish accent. I didn't think that Koenigsegg would be so fast. ![]() I post here for the first time. Hi everyone! |

| I'm not Moe | Clarkson's S-class was amazing. I wonder how much it weighed after all of those improvements |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Propably more than twice it's weight before Clarkson's "improovements". Did you see that tires touched the ground only with inner edges? I was amazed that this car is still moving. |

| I concede that the boxter is lathargically designed but saying that the Z4 is better looking is just lunacy | |

Yeah I agree. I sat in an Z4 M at the Philly Auto Show a few months back and I was very impressed with it. It may have been my favorite car there, as far as "beastiness" goes, but... I'd still take the Boxster. I'm a precision guy, and I think it's starting to come out of that old cliche that "Boxsters are only for people who can't afford 911's"... I really think that doesn't apply anymore since the boxster is such a great car.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | A very good episode even if I believe ep. nr 3 the best of series 8 so far. Too many german cars maybe when one goes to count what was shown... Love the Cottageitization of the Merc: especially when it was "tested" by Richard and James. Priceless when they accelerated with all the bits (and driver) falling into the back and when stopping all of a sudden. Priceless indeed. One point: James May space is shrinking a lot. I understand he has fallen off with JC since last year refused to partecipate in a charity race... but something is clearling wrong here. When I went to the studios I never ever see James May a happy bunny. He is quite actually miserable and what you see on TV is nowhere near what James apparently is as character is concerned. He is always pacing away from everyone in the studio.. he is an off putting person I find myself saying... and I admire him for the piece on the classic Aston V8 Vantage. Something has happened with James... and I have the feeling he is going to be his last series on TG... |

Rep Power: 13 ![]() | I'm not sure if you guys noticed this, but when the stig took out the z4 around the first corner, he turned his lights on. Then the lights were off in the next corners. What is up with this?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I think Loris Biocchi (Koenigseggs official testdriver) was the Stig for the day. I also think that the car has been sorted out with many settings before coming back. Don't trust that the wing is the only difference. I have personally asked Chrisitian about Top Gear a few years ago and begged him to send over the CCR. He was clearly annoyed that the CC8S time was worse than what he had recorded when he was over there. According to him Top Gear had fiddled with the time in order to favor Pagani, whos biggest market i the UK. Anyway the Top Gear record was of huge importance to him. Remember that he is the biggest petrolhead out there, and imagine if you had that record within grasp. I bet he was quite satisfied to have a solid proof that he has beaten the Enzo, Pagani, Lambo, Carrera GT, SLR and the Maserati. |
