Europe's Mondeo basically North America's Focus with a long wheel base; and Europe's Fusion the same as NA's Fusion, but shortened and with a hatchback. Quote:

Rep Power: 17 ![]() | I don't care if the entire ep was scripted, I laughed the whole way through. Hopefully they'll return to a more car-oriented focus for the remainder of the season. Either way, it's good to have TG back. Regarding the perpetual America vs Europe nonsense, I think Americans may be more upset than those from other countries Clarkson pokes fun at simply because he bashes us incessantly and with much greater ferocity. Half of it is him playing up his character for attention, but the other half is simply a stubborn old man set in his unshakeable beliefs. I say, so be it. Let him have his delusions as long as he continues to entertain me incessantly. ![]()

| That was very car-oriented show for Top Gear. If there was any more normal cars it might become....... Fifth Gear. (Only kidding)

Car: Toyota Auris 1.6 Dual VVT-i Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Great Ep. The caravan fire setup was a bit too transparent.. but otherwise . Jeremy's "How far I'm ready to go to not have a Vauxhall Vectra in my life"- thing was hilarious. And he's right! I'm not that far behind.. somewhere past the Jupiter anyways.I think it was nice to have some normal but sporty cars to "people with sensible hair" on Top Gear. Cars that even I could have after years of hard labor and a divorce. ![]() Can't wait to see the new 911 Turbo or the GT3 on TG, though.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hello. I'm new here. Just wanted to say it WAS the usual Stig in the F1 film. I don't want to sound like a big man saying "I know for a fact" and all that but please take my word for it, that I really do. Oh, and to the person wondering if the white van challenge is in the last show, it is. Glad I found this site, it's great. |

Car: Golf IV TDI Rep Power: 22 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Err, fill me in what you exactly understand by it. When I think white van over here, it's usually somebody selling something that falls into the category of at least half legal. |

| A white van man is someone who drives a van (usually white) like he owns the road. Basically he'll beep a lot, tailgate you and just generally drive like a nob.

---- As for th ecamper fire, I'll say that it is possible that the fire wasn't scripted but since they all hated it and it was paid for by BBS money (not theirs), Jeremy could have decided on the spot that "Oh well, it's on fire. F&%k it all. I'll let it burn. Would make for great telly." | ||

Here in the USA, the white vans (construction and service workers) are usually running 10MPH under the speed limit, clogging up traffic. Our version of a "white van man" tends to be those who drive pickup trucks. It's amazing how driving 3+ tons of unresponsive, slow, jacked-up pickup makes one "drive like a nob." | |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | OTOH driving one is huge fun, because of the power. So it means you can _really_ gun it down the highway, even though it's a van. Loved it, the two times I drove one (rented one when I was moving from one town to another). |
