I'll second the 350mb torrent as garbage, the video broke up at the end and the picture quality sucked.

I don't think the fire was planned, but I think clarkson reacted to it rather poorly on purpose.

Well the crew wasn't doing anything. They just sat there while James backed into the other caravan and well as when they set it on fire.

is it just me who thinks that the F1-segment was rather pointless? it was a nice idea, but it felt to me that it was cropped and cut top be as short as possible. images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

the rest of the ep was hilarious tho, Captain Slow is driving images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

The crew clearly knew it was good stuff, and absolutely hillarious. Why interfere? Someone needs to do the filming and whatnot.

One of the best episodes by far.... images/smilies/lol.gif

My father has been contemplating a RV now that he is getting older...and i cant wait to show him this episode.

Some of the stuff the Clarksons experience on their vacation totally reminds me of my childhood camping experiences. images/smilies/tongue.gif

btw...griswolds have nothing on the clarksons. images/smilies/smile.gif

They explained at the end of it that is was crap and pointless.
I loved the show though. The caravan bit was hilarious.
Good test by Jeremy on the Hoy Saloons.
Bit dissapointed with Brian Cox. He seemed like a really boring guy.
News was funny and loved how Clarkson kept going on rants about America.
Overall a very good episode.

has anyony ever driven the Mazda MPS?
The clutch is so heavy and grabs. You either stall... or you stall.
That's how hard it is to drive. First time I drove it, stalled 4 times in ten minutes. Took me a long time before I got used to it. I could never shift smoothly.

I don't think the fire was setup, since they did set the tent next to them on fire! That was a great ep though, I think that would be one of the best eps ever, if not one of the top 10.

Go top gear top though!

Can you set one of those displays from that far away though?

Huh? Of course the fire was set up, how could anyone possibly think it was an accident?

Did anyone else notice that the cop they spoke to was the same one when they chained themselves to a bus?

Its pretty obvious that the neighbor tent was one of their own... If there would have lived some people in it, they would have taped James saying sorry in a pretty funny way... They put it there so that Cpt. Slow can crash into it and so that they could also set it on fire...
Don't kidd yourself, its all scripted. Still, awesome fun. I loved it...!

You just can't cope with it. It's the same with for example Impreza STi, car with power needs a heavy clutch. The MPS is soooo easy to start going with, I drove it for one hour and were nowhere near stalling it.

If you want car that has a bitch clutch, try for example the previous Passat, not the current one but one model back. The pedal travel is soooooo looooong it's annoying to predict when it's gonna grab, I think it's a problem with all VAG cars that time.
But now were going bit offtopic. The MPS is great car, absolutely loved it.

Clarkson should have mentioned how incredibly silent it is, compared to it's rivals.

I dunno, looks like the same one to me. Don't forget the first screenshot is quite old.

And yeah, the other tent was definitely their's. Again, the camera guys woulda dropped the cameras if they actually were damaging other people's property.

Good show, wanted more car reviews though.

Of course the fire was rigged.

I didn't like that Clarkson said the Vauxhall is one of the fastest saloons because he didn't mention that cars like the M5 are electronically limited. WE know this because we know the cars but I could imagine people believing it unconditionally.

Hey, which EP did they chain them selves to a bus?. Never seen that one images/smilies/smile.gif.

Great EP though, one of the best I think. Has anybody tried dialing that mobile number?

Yes, and some people don't know that you can deactivate it. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Great Episode, i only saw the last 30 minutes but i liked it. But some things just looked too fake. Like the fire, and i just knew that they would drive the car back with the burned out caravan behind it. images/smilies/lol.gif

Jeremy had a nice Kalashnikov bytheway. images/smilies/wink.gif
